Awards and Recognition

The Anna Lindh Foundation recognises individuals and groups for their outstanding contribution to understanding the complexity of cross-cultural issue, and fighting against all types of discrimination.

Call for applications   Journalists from the written press, television, radio and online media, citizens of the 42 countries of the Union for the Mediterranean, are invited to submit their work until 27th September 2017  to take part in the 10th  edition of the Anna Lindh Mediterranean Journalist Awards. Submitted works should tackle intercultural issues between and within Euro-Mediterranean societies. Works could have been published in printed/online media, or broadcast on radio or television between 1 January 2017 and 27th September 2017. Find out more
Euro-Med Dialogue Award 2013
Founded in 2006, in partnership with Fondazione Mediterraneo, the Euro-Mediterranean Award for the Dialogue between Cultures aims at recognising the achievements of individuals and organizations that have been at the forefront of promoting Dialogue, building on diversity, tackling intolerance and stereotypes and promoting mutual respect amongst Euro-Mediterranean societies. ‘Sea of Words’ Literary Competition
A regional contest aimed at producing short stories focused on citizenship and the promotion of shared values, run in partnership with the European Institute for the Mediterranean. Find out more
The Anna Lindh Foundation collaborates with the United Nations Alliance of Civilisation in the annual Plural + Video Festival that encourages young people to share their creative vision with the world. Find out more
