General Information
AACC is a network of collectives that help each other organize events at local scale around the world. The structure of the organization is bottom-up and privilege self-sustainability through the voluntary participation of the citizens, and associated parties in connection to each event. Budgetary resources are variable but accountability is transparent to every member at any moment of each project developed. Sources of funding include contributions from individuals, local collectives at district level, associations that want to contribute to the specific topic of each event. Actions are various and spread at international level, although they remain very much meaningful for individuals at local level. Main partners are volunteers, individuals, local collectives and associations.
Mission and Objectives

AACC mission is about involving citizens to participate in urban development and the production of activities.
AACC provides a reference frame for a collection of activities of different kind.
AACC creates the conditions for networking between heterogeneous cultural projects.
Events are created with the participation of artists, lawyers, teachers, students, architects, sociologists, hackers... and any 'citizen activist' who wants to contribute to a local initiative in order to improve the quality of living of individuals in their community and their surroundings.

How can you contribute to the Network in your country?

I am an artist and a Ph.D. Candidate.
I took part in several international programs from EU white paper research projects, to art events in different countries. I tend to prefer collaborative enterprises and multicultural, trans-disciplinary undertakings.
I am going to continue and create opportunities for others to expand their ideas and meet new associates to develop projects in collaboration with new partners. One example of this kind of proposition can be seen here:

Why do you want to join the ALF Network?

I believe in the purpose of the Anna Lindh Foundation and I want to contribute to your mission.
My resume and the statement of intention explain in detail what drives my creative practice, my predilection for international networking, and my uncompromising ambition to create real change in the lives of those who participate to projects I support.
