Czech ALF network involved in 3 cross-network projects in summer 2017

Throughout summer 2017 the Czech network will get involved in 3 exciting cross-network actions (CNAs):

1. Czech-led "Be effective!" project, building media and communication skills of network members in 6 Central and Eastern European countries through a series of trainings in graphic design, data journalism, short video production in each partner country, and finally in an international "Learning and Sharing meeting" in Olomouc, Czech Republic, on 8-11/9 to learn further about successful practices of effective media work and dialogue skills, and compare national realities in Central Europe and North Africa. Partners: Lithuania, Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Slovenia, Tunisia and Morocco.

2. Slovenia-led "Intercultural cities" project, bringing together stakeholders who work with migrants and people from different cultures in the urban space, focusing on themes like cooperation with city administrations, story telling and narratives or generations in migration. On 3-6/9 a final meeting will take place in Ljubljana, Slovenia, to share best practices, lessons learnt, to network and explore new partnerships and projects in the field. Partners: Hungary, Czech Republic, Poland, Israel, Finland and Sweden.

3. Italian-led "Kímiyya: Women Actresses of Dialogue" project, drawing attention to the women´s rights and equality and providing a space to share inspirational practices, learn about interesting initiatives, tackle barriers and stereotypes regarding full involvement of women in all areas of society, and elaborate recommendations for policy-makers. The final meeting will take place in Napoli, Italy, on 11-14/9. Partners: core project partners and additionally all 41 other networks (including ALF Czech Republic as one of the 12 members of the project Steeting Committee).
