The Anna Lindh Foundation and the European Institute of the Mediterranean call the seventh edition of the international competition of short stories and tales "A Sea of Words", aimed at young people from the 43 countries of the Euro-Mediterranean area.
The contest is aimed at the production of short stories focused on the fight against racist and discriminatory speech online.
The competition is aimed at young people between 18 and 30 years, citizens of one of the 43 countries of the Euro-Mediterranean area.
Format of the works
The stories cannot exceed the maximum length of 2,500 words and can be written in any of the official languages of the participating countries. They must be original and wholly unpublished works. The short stories must address issues related to intercultural dialogue, mainly of a political, socio-cultural, economic and environmental nature.

The stories can be sent by e-mail until: 15th June 2014, midnight
Participation in the contest implies surrendering to the IEMed and the Anna Lindh Foundation the copyright of the work entered into the contest. The Anna Lindh Foundation and the IEMed reserve the right to publish and use the works received for future activities.
