جمعية تنموية ثقافية تعليمية تشكلت من قبل 8 أعضاء مؤسسين وتضم 150 عضواً ملتحقًا بها، تعتمد مصادرها المالية على اشتراكات الأعضاء وبرامج التنمية. يقع مقر الجمعية ضمن حرم الجامعة، حيث تهدف إلى تعزيز المساواة بين الجنسين ونشر الوعي البيئي وتعزيز الفلاحة البيئية. تركز الجمعية على دعم المرأة الريفية من خلال إقامة شراكات مع المؤسسات الحكومية كوزارة الفلاحة و وزارة التعليم العالي و وزارة المراة و الطفولة و جمعيات محلية مثل انصاف و جمعية بيو كاف وتوفير توجيه للطلاب. يتم تحقيق هذه الأهداف من خلال ورش التدريب والندوات والزيارات الميدانية، بالإضافة إلى تعزيز استخدام التكنولوجيا الحديثة. تعتبر الجمعية عاملًا رئيسيًا في تعزيز التنمية المستدامة وتحقيق تأثير إيجابي في المجتمع

أهداف الجمعية:

تحقيق المساواة بين الجنسين: تسعى الجمعية إلى تعزيز التوعية حول أهمية المساواة بين الجنسين وتعزيز حقوق المرأة.

نشر الوعي البيئي: تهدف الجمعية إلى توعية الجمهور بقضايا البيئة وتعزيز السلوكيات المستدامة.

دعم الفلاحة الايكولوجية: تعمل الجمعية على نشر الممارسات الزراعية الايكولوجية وتوفير الدعم للفلاحين لتبني هذه النهج.

تاطير الطلبة: تقديم توجيه ودعم للطلاب من خلال حلقات تكوين، ندوات، زيارات ميدانية، وتشجيع استخدام التكنولوجيا الحديثة في التعليم.

الشراكات مع المؤسسات الحكومية: تعمل الجمعية على بناء شراكات فعّالة مع المؤسسات الحكومية لتحقيق أهدافها بشكل أفضل وتحقيق أقصى قدر من التأثير الإيجابي في المجتمع.

On the occasion of the International Women’s Day, the Anna Lindh Foundation (ALF) is proud to announce the launch of its new campaign, "Not Just Ticking Boxes", as a response to the Foundation’s collective request for a deeper, more genuine kind of women's empowerment. It's about moving past the surface to touch the very core of what it means to empower women.

The main aim of the campaign is to challenge the superficial narratives that often accompany discussions surrounding women's issues, particularly on occasions such as International Women’s Day. 

“Not Just Ticking Boxes” sheds light on how empowerment and inclusion are not just buzz words thrown in meetings or token gestures, but rather demand concrete, meaningful actions that bring real change. This involves ensuring real equality within your organisation, creating an environment where women can have a physical presence that's on par with their male counterparts. It's about accommodating the unique needs of working mothers, such as providing necessary childcare facilities, and ensuring that everyone's voice, regardless of their gender, is heard and valued equally.

2) ‘’CREATIVE PRISMA –CREATIVE Production in Social Enterprises for Migrants and Asylum Seekers’’: by ERASMUS+ N°2018-1-FR01-KA204-048140, Sud Concept-France (January 2019-October 2020).
3) Metlinats Project By “CEFA Italy” the project promotes environment protection and preservation and involves participants from 11 to 30 years old (October 2022-June 2023).
4) THE CITY OF PRIVILEGE-ERASMUS-YOUTH-EXCHANGE-MT01-KA152-YOU-000052159, Malta Young Creative Group, the goal of this youth exchange project is to come up with ways to reduce social inequality. (January 2024-February 2024)
5) See Me Hear Me by Erasmus+ “2022-1-PT02-KA220-YOU-000087351”, the project addresses social inclusion and targets young migrants (in progress).
6) TOURBiNE 101093302 by Erasmus-YOUTH-2022-CB, the project investigates the future of work in the tourism sector (in progress).

1) Le développement local : PADIL pourrait valoriser les initiatives locales et chercher à les soutenir pour contribuer au développement économique et social de la communauté.
2) La solidarité : PADIL pourrait se préoccuper de la situation des populations les plus vulnérables et chercher à apporter un soutien aux personnes en difficulté.
3) L'engagement : PADIL pourrait promouvoir l'engagement citoyen et encourager les membres de la communauté à s'impliquer dans des projets locaux.
4) L'innovation : PADIL pourrait encourager l'innovation et la créativité dans la mise en place de projets locaux, en proposant des solutions originales pour répondre aux défis locaux.
5) Le respect de l'environnement : PADIL pourrait accorder une attention particulière à la protection de l'environnement et promouvoir des initiatives locales qui respectent l'équilibre écologique.

Why do you want to join the ALF Network?

J'ai toujours été convaincu que, grâce aux échanges entre les jeunes des deux rives de la Méditerranée, nous construisons un vaste bassin de paix et de prospérité pour tous les peuples et résidents, sans ségrégation.
Il va de soi que l'échange bilatéral entre les pays méditerranéens est une pierre angulaire pour construire des partenariats et des coentreprises contribuant à la réconciliation des peuples, éliminant ainsi toutes les restrictions pour voyager librement dans tous les pays méditerranéens.

General Information

We are a group of Egyptian and African journalists. We launched the Africa Voices website to present a different image of the African continent. We mainly work on four files: immigration, climate change and environment, women, rights and freedoms. We try to shed light on these issues that do not have enough space to express in the mainstream media. In our writing, we rely on the storytelling method, so that each writer from his country presents his personal experience that reflects the reality of the society in which he lives.
Through our project, we dream of being voices emerging from the continent, revealing their aspirations for a better reality and a clearer future, voices spoken by Africans who convey - through their self-narration - the reality of their societies and their transformations.

Mission and Objectives

Our project is to present neglected issues in the media on the African continent, especially climate change, the environment, human rights, and democracy. Our storytelling style helps present these issues in a way that creates interaction among readers. We know very well that readers love stories, especially since ordinary news about countries that may not interest them, may seem unimportant. Through these self-narrative stories formulated with a media style, we try to connect the reader to these issues, and make it as if he is living the same experience as our writer.
Our mission is to create a platform that aims to introduce these issues about the continent, through journalists who express the reality of their societies, through their personal writings.

Impact:
Africa Voices will have a number of positive impacts, including:
• Increasing the visibility of African voices
• Raising awareness of the challenges facing Africa
• Empowering Africans to speak out for their rights
• Promoting democracy and good governance

Main Projects / Activities

We worked on many important topics, such as the plight of farmers on the tense border line between Ethiopia and Sudan in February last year and before the Sudanese civil war. Through narrative narration, our writer dealt with the story of a farmer’s family on the tense unmarked border between Sudan and Ethiopia, with attacks by cattle rustling gangs and armed gangs.
Also, we worked on a topic about children whose legs were amputated in Mali as a result of mines placed by extremist groups. We worked on a topic about women in Africa, and we dealt with women in debt in Egypt and their imprisonment for their inability to pay the debt. A topic on the rape of lonely girls in Burundi, as well as a topic on murder due to love in Sudan.
Our work is about fishermen-turned-pirates in the Mediterranean off Tunisia, stealing the engines of refugee boats.
We worked on topics on climate migration from Ethiopia and Sudan.

How can you contribute to the Network in your country?

Our project targets not only Egypt, but the African continent. The goal is to create a platform for independent journalists who are talented in writing in a narrative style to present their communities with their problems and complexities. Therefore, we are trying to raise awareness of the seriousness of issues such as migration and climate change, and their impact on local communities in Africa. In addition to the absent basic needs of women, as well as the suffering they experience.

For our project, we need technical, material and training support to complete our mission. We need to connect with other institutions in Africa to exchange experiences and share work. We need to collaborate with institutions working on the same files that are important to us. We also need special training institutions in writing narratives and dealing with topics such as migration, climate change, and the situation of women.

Why do you want to join the ALF Network?

To obtain technical, journalistic and financial support. Also linking our institution to other institutions working on the same topics, in order to exchange experiences and knowledge and perhaps share work.

SARU is a non for profit NGO initiated in 2018 and fully incorporated in the Lebanon since 2022. SARU aspires to support civil societies by empowering marginalised women (socially and professionally, Internally displaced and refugees in host communities) to become civic actors and leaders in their social surroundings.

SARU Mission:
Our mission is to promote humanitarian principles for the good and wellbeing of refugees and people in need. Through our activities and projects, we target women, men, youth and children with the aim to empower the most vulnerable and to leave no one behind.

SARU Goals:
Working and collaborating with relevant authorities on:
1- Empowering women socially, professionally and intellectually
2- Educate children and women about their rights in accordance with the Universal Declaration of human rights and support them to be able to defend them.

4- Creating conditions for the child that enable him to discover himself and develop his talents.
5- Contribute to the implementation of development projects, support families in the poorest areas, and support small projects.

Main Projects / Activities

In close collaboration with the Euromed Feminist Initiative, (funded by Sweden), SARU managed to implement 2 projects “Let's talk to be” & “Women on board” aiming at enhancing the socio-political role of women in decision- making processes. The projects focused on empowering them to establish women support centers in the north eastern areas of Syria and in Lebanon.
