“Culture: The last barricade”, a new Opinion Piece by the Executive Director Hatem Atallah

Ambassador Hatem Atallah, Executive Director of the Anna Lindh Foundation, has published a new opinion piece on The Arab Weekly on the importance of intercultural dialogue as a tool to tackle radicalization and terrorism.

The Award

From 2 July 2015 and until the 1 September 2015, journalists who are nationals of one of the 42 countries of the Union for the Mediterranean have the opportunity to participate in the Ninth edition of the Anna Lindh Mediterranean Journalist Award.


The Categories

Building on the success of the Mediterranean Journalist Award, the 2014 edition will be launched for the following categories:

1. Press Category:

  • All articles published in printed newspapers/magazines/periodicals
  • Articles must be written in a journalistic style.
  • Academic papers will not be accepted.

2. New Media Category:


Winners of the 2011 Edition

The winners of the 2011 edition of the ‘Anna LindhMediterranean Journalist Award’ were presented today by Prince Albert II and the International Award Jury at a ceremony taking place in the Principality of Monaco and bringing together media and civil society from across the two shores of the Mediterranean region.
