- Democracy and community development
Midal Association is a Lebanese non-profit, non-political, non-religious civil association, founded in 2005 with the aim of promoting sustainable social and economic development in Lebanon through equality, protection and empowerment of marginalized areas, especially women and youth.
we have two structure: board members and executive board. our main partners are: Mercy corps, EU, save the children, ACTED, UN women, MEPI US.
Our mission is :
- Empower, mobilize, and enable citizens to change and meet the needs of the community specifically the marginalized communities in rural areas through human rights based approach,.
- To identify, invest in and bring visibility to women in the marginalized areas by unleashing their leadership potential to improve their conditions of lives and accelerate prosperity in their communities.
- To promote equality and active participation through policy development. Legal reform, gender mainstreaming, eliminating discrimination, in addition to supporting the advancement of women and empowering them to participate effectively and fully in their communities
a) To build a community capable of assuming the responsibility partnership and to build the capacity of individuals in order to raise the level of awareness in society.
b) To deliver a range of projects to promote leadership development, decision making, positive participation and positive change in the local and national policies.
c) Community improvement can be applied through programs aim to promote the sustainable development, and a cultural of human right.

a) Women and youth empowerment
This program aim to empower women to become leaders in their community especially in the marginalized areas by building their skills, and enhancing their economic and social potential.
Advocacy
Is a strategy through which MIDAL addresses cross cutting issues that arise from the above core programs messages.(Ex:. Men and women for gender equality project)

This program was established since 2005 and organized in collaboration with our partners in the Euro Mediterranean countries:
The network will be an opportunity for our organisation to share our experiences and to benefit from the other experiences.
it's a commitment to the collective advancement of society. Through the efforts of all the network members, this become a catalyst for change.
