JOIN A NEW GENERATION OF LEADERS | VIRTUAL SEMINAR ON CULTURAL INTELLIGENCE & POLICY LEADERSHIP

The Young Mediterranean Voices programme, in partnership with the Mediterranean Academy of Diplomatic Studies - University of Malta (MEDAC) is announcing a call for participation to young leaders from the Euro-Mediterranean region, for the third edition of the "YMV Malta Leadership Seminar”, taking place virtually from 25 to 29 January, 2021. The Young Mediterranean Voices Leadership Seminar is an initiative of the Anna Lindh Foundation, supported by the European Commission (DG European Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations) and co-organised with MEDAC, the World Leadership Alliance-Club de Madrid and a consortium of international partners.

Despite COVID-19 limitations and mobility restrictrictions, we are excited to engage a group of selected participants in a 5-day programme that will include: formal and non formal education tools, dialogue and networking activities and a combination of innovative methodologies, together with a variety of occasions for interaction.

Capacity-building sessions will tackle topics related to cultural intelligence, leading-through-values, media narratives and policy formulation, as well as practicing advocacy with global, regional, and local political leaders.  Although in-person meetings in Malta are not possible, we are maintaining the high level of learning and engagement of past editions of the workshop.

The virtual nature of the sessions allows us to have access to policy-makers we would not have been able to in other times. We are also happy to include a mentorship element. A group of participants will start working with Members of the European Parliament (MEPs) on topics of their own interest. Their work and recommendations will be shared with selected European Parliament individuals and committees. For interested individuals, check the criteria below, and submit your expression of interest.
