”Destek” Design Academy, will be an international educational institution with its summer season workshops and permanent unique designing education programs. Through the facilities and social capital of the organization, the local people will have the opportunity to be involved in cultural and artistic activities, like “a film every week”.  We are helping to face with the problem of lacking of a movie theatre in Ayvalık. Every Friday we air thematic movies.  This event taking take place throughout the season are welcomed by a quite a big community. We also have day time sessions for students.

Santralistanbul is a project led by Istanbul Bilgi University(B?LG?), involving the conversion of the Ottoman Empire’s first power station - Silahtara?a Power Plant - into a Museum of Contemporary Arts, Museum of Energy and a cultural and educational centre.
With Santralistanbul, B?LG? has set out to simultaneously conserve and transform this industrial and technological heritage site of 118,000sqm into a creative cultural and artistic hub.
Santralistanbul sees its mission as being a comprehensive, participatory and interdisciplinary international platform for arts and culture.
The aim is to create international public arts, cultural and educational facilities, to attract the diverse and multifaceted artistic and cultural energies, ideas and work from regions such as the Mediterranean, the Balkans, the Middle East, the Caucasus and Central Asia and to network these artistic energies across the globe.

One of our missions is to create a clean environment, a local place, village with walkable streets, trees and flowers. Second and the most important one, we want to convince the local people that the life is equal to both genders. Through seminars and different projects it can be achieved.

The Foundatiton realises activities and projects in the following areas.
* Promotion of Turkish composers
* Archiving of the Turkish compositions
* Recording of the Turkish compositions
* Organising polyphonic music concerts
* Publising of music books
* Scholarships for music students
* Supporting competitions on polyphonic music
* Organising academic meetings and seminars
* Organising the International Ankara Music Festival
* Music training for children and youngsters
* Approaching social problems through music
The foundation realises all above activities by using its own resources with the exception of the International Ankara Music Festival where it generates support from sponsor intitutions.

Create a bridge from the starting points to all related areas.

Our organization is new according to the years of establishment. But, since that time, we have organized several activities on local level. The character of these activities has been mostly supporting the locals and gathering them on events that rely on their traditions and beliefs.
We have organized every year, on 1st of May a big festival similar to ‘thanksgiving day’. Almost 2000 people has attended the festival. They give their thanks for the good things in their life and share time with each-other. The message we want to bring among them with this activity is to keep and work together for the common good and contributing in the development of the city.
During the Ramadan time we organize dinners for elderly people. We support policies related to improving the life and their well-being. We encourage those activities that are centralized in keeping them integrated and active in the society.

Eğitim, Çevre, Kültür, Yenilikçilik ve Spor faaliyetleri yoluyla daha iyi gençlik politikasına katkıda bulunarak daha fazla gencin toplumsal hayata katılmalarını desteklemektir. ​

The Sabancı University Performing Arts Center: MAKE TIME FOR THE ARTS
The Sabancı University Performing Arts Center (SGM) aims to contribute to the rich cultural life of Istanbul, particularly to the city’s Anatolian coast, and provide cultural and artistic services to the University’s students and staff, as well as to all art appreciators in the region. The Center’s goal is to organize activities through which art appreciators of all ages and from all walks of life can interact with the arts, as well as to become a prestigious performing arts center renown for the quality of its performing national and international artists and groups. This world class center has a superb accoustic design making it an ideal venue for art performances such as operas, theater plays, ballet performances and concerts. In a typical week the center offers three different events enhancing the life quality of the entire community.
