General Information
Since 2005 we are a group of 15 young people organizing events in Malta, Arab countries and rest of Europe like youth exchanges, seminars and other cultural activities. The source of funding usually is through EU funding like Youth in action & other sponsors involving other youth organisations.
Mission and Objectives

for the last 7 years we are working closely with other local associations locally whilst also abroad in order to gather young people, minimize stereotypes and keep them busy away from all types of abuses.

Main Projects / Activities

We have been organizing many youth exchanges youth encounters,, seminars locally and abroad. Other local activities are organised during the year such as a Bowling, horse riding, kart racing and outdoor activities as BBQ"S and hikes.

With our 7 years past experience organizing events for young people we would be delighted to work with ALF project and promote it in our country.

General Information
The organisation is composed of an executive body made up of 11 directly elected representatives from students attending the University of Malta, and 2 representatives elected from 2 independent commissions. These representatives work on a voluntary basis. The organisation currently employs one member of staff. Its annual turnover is approx EUR 100,000, financed mainly through the events organised by the same organisation and from its sponsors. The work revolves around a number of projects and events which have to be carried out annually, along with other events that may need to be done in the interest of student repesentation. KSU has also taken part in international projects and student exchanges. Its main partners are other student representatives, its corporate sponsors, governmental and non-governmetnal agencies and various policy makers.
Mission and Objectives

KSU is a dynamic organization and therefore it is open for change and debate. Nevertheless, this organisation is built on a set of fundamental principles:
To represent students in whatever issues concern them, whether it is on a national or international level.
To serve as an official link between students and the relevant authorities.
To achieve the democratization of education in Malta.
To coordinate activities with other organizations, and
To cultivate an interest in students in the fields of education, socio-political and cultural issues.
To pressure authorities into assuring the highest level of quality in Higher Education.

Main Projects / Activities

KSU organises a number of annual activities, such as Freshers' Week, which aims to welcome new students at the University of Malta; Careers'Convention, that aims to help bridge the gap between University and the working life; Singers' Songwriters Showcase where students are allowed to showcase their artistic talents; Students' Fest, another theatrical display organised by students; and also a number of ad hoc events, such as rallies, meetings and displays which, organised in the interest of student representation.

Il-Qlugħ is a non-governmental organisation (NGO), emerging from an athrpologial and artistic political actions. It is established in a time of economic crisis in the aftermath of global dominion by capital. The Overall goal of Il-Qlugħ is to be an autonomous, progressive and open tool in creating a better world based on; equality and respect, work and solidarity, peace and justice, social welfare and education, knowledge and truth, human rights and dignity, sustainable economies, care of nature and animals, religious harmony and cultural diversity, compassion and love, freedom and tranquillity, involving people from all walks of life no matter their gender, sex, age, belief, class or origin through the belief that “united we stand, divided we fall”

1.to promote localization as opposed to globalization where modernity meets tradition trough an exchange between the old and the new thus bridging the gap between the have and have-nots
2.to support the development of micro economies as opposed to the 'free' market economy where all living beings are free from exploitation thus life will count more than profit.
3.To advocate for a holistic environment of tolerance as opposed to the fundamentalist propaganda, state paranoia and bureaucratic-dream-killing-regimes where democracy means a plurality of voices

General Information

Inizjamed is a voluntary non-governmental cultural organization founded in 1998 in Malta that is committed towards the regeneration of culture and artistic expression in the Maltese Islands and actively promotes a greater awareness of the cultures of the Mediterranean. Inizjamed is a secular, non-partisan organization that acknowledges that every generation must seek to create its own language and both respond to realities of its day and look beyond them. The internal structure of Inizjamed is not a hierarchy with an executive committee and a pool of dormant members but rather · a central coordinating team of five persons · project coordinators who may or may not be members of the organization. The project coordinators bring with them competences, experiences and contacts that enrich both the participants and the organization itself.

Mission and Objectives

Inizjamed is · a founding member of the Association that runs the Biennial for Young Artists from Europe and the Mediterranean · an affiliate member of the Forum of Justice and Cooperation based in Malta. Since it was founded in 1998, Inizjamed has been nominated three times for the Youth in Society prize awarded by the Government of Malta for the work it carried out in 1999, 2000 and 2003. It has also run major projects funded by the European Union, the British Council, the University of Malta, and UNESCO.

The International Developmet Institute is a Non-Profit Association,Research and traing  Institute university like  and Charity.It has Administration Board, Board of Trustees, and Board of Consultants. The International Integrity Foundation is a newly established entity, which aims to support and empower people by developing various initiatives related to multi-sectoral issues that address social, economic, legal and cultural spheres and which impact all aspects of people’s lives and their communities. The focus of foundation is placed on women and girls, children and migrants by helping them to grow their internal potential, encouraging their personal and professional development and promoting and safeguarding their rights.  We are a team of four (4) professionals working in the fields of entrepreneurship, international affairs, communications, psychology and well-being. Our mission is to promote integration, social cohesion and individual well-being. We put strong emphasis on the importance of human equality and rights.  Specific objectives: To promote integration and social cohesion as cross-cutting and multi-sectoral issues that pertain to policy areas addressing economic, social, legal, cultural, and civic spheres and impact all aspects of people’s lives and their communities; To guarantee human rights and to encourage social justice for all by increasing the quality of life of citizens and improving individual wellbeing; To empower young voices through mobility, training and networking and to support and educate vulnerable children; To support psychological well-being through specialised training and by raising awareness; To empower and support women and young girls towards personal and professional development; To promote entrepreneurship and to encourage people to become entrepreneurs and to make it easier for them to set up and grow their businesses; To contribute towards the development of fundamental rights such as: non-discrimination, equality, anti-racism and tolerance, cultural diversity and the respect of human dignity; To conduct research and raise awareness of the challenges and needs of refugees and asylum seekers; and To raise awareness about gender disparities.

Main Projects / Activities

Projects: WO-MENtrepreneurs project Co-financed by the ERASMUS+ program The main aim of the project was to provide support, knowledge, techniques and tools for young females who would like to become entrepreneurs. The support was provided through sixteen (16) hour training sessions organized in three participating countries – Malta, Spain and Italy. These mentoring sessions were provided by mentors in the field of entrepreneurship. The project was implemented within a period of twelve (12) months. The prime objective of the project was to train and support women to become entrepreneurs and therefore to: Encourage women to believe in themselves; Give women concrete ideas on how to make a business plan; Support women learning and networking with each other; and Help women’s entrepreneurship to be more visible within our society.

The organisational structure of the Isla (Senglea) Local Council is made up of a Mayor (part time), Vice Mayor (voluntary), 3 Councillors (voluntary), Executive Secretary (full time) and 2 clerks (1 part time & 1 full time). The annual government budgetary allocation for the Isla Local Council is approximately 193,338 EURO.
Mission and Objectives

The Mission Statement and objectives are embedded in the Local Council Act - According to the Laws of Malta Chapter 363, a local council shall be a statutory local government authority having a distinct legal personality and capable of entering into contracts to the exercise and performance of its functions. Such functions include the upkeep and maintenance of any street, maintenance for cleanliness, maintenance of all public conveniences, maintenance of proper road signs in conformity with national and international standards, and opening of establishments for cultural and leisure centres. An important task is that all mentioned factors can be accessed by all members of society, including disabled and the elderly.

Main Projects / Activities

Apart from carrying out its mandatory duties, the council has also strived to increase local awareness regarding the wealth of historic and cultural assets that lie within its walls and surrounding cities. The Council has previously participated in the EU-funded DELTA project, which focused on the regeneration of historic urban cores, as well a in Youth exchanges and Town Twinning. More recently the local council has teamed up with partners in Greece Cyprus and Italy and has submitted a Cultural Itineraries proposal for the INTERREG IIIB Programme, as it believes that such activities will further help it place Malta and the locality on the international cultural map.

The JP2 Foundation is made up of a council of eleven members elected through an annual general meeting every two years. During the meeting, members of the JP2 Foundation vote for the preferred member. During its work a number of committees are formed to implement the objectives and aims of the foundation. During the past years we have partnered with a number of organisation throughout the Mediterranean. Our foundation basis its finical resources through donations and fund raising.

The JP2 Foundation is a non-government organisation and it has the holding as one of its main objectives in getting together people with diversity in cultural through events focusing across the Mediterranean to build trust and improve mutual understanding and foster intercultural and inter religious dialogue.

The JP2 Foundation has organised a number of art exhibitions, concerts, fairs and conferences with participants from across europe and the Mediterranean.

Link Campus is the Italian branch of the internationally-reputed University of Malta and it to receive approval from the Italian Department of Education to operate in Italy. Founded in 1999, it is the first foreign university authorized to operate in Italy by University Ministry decree; 27 November 1999, based on article 2 of law 4, 14 January 1999. Link Campus has 8 million Euro resources available in 3 years (around 3 million Euro/year). 3. It are founding by public and private investment. The Link Campus activities are developing by concrete national and international project of teaching and research activities in cooperation with the most important international educational institutions.

The specific mission is to provide international students with the necessary skills to forge a successful international career and to train professionals capable of facing the new challenges of a world in continuous evolution. This mission in achieved by providing students with an environment rich in external stimuli, both international and innovative, geared to generate excellence. Link Campus works much like an ecosystem fostering creativity and independent thinking. The focus is to develop and prepare the student, ensuring that the education given responds to each individual's career aspirations. This focus on the individual is manifested in the wide use of the tutorial system, where the professor and the student meet regularly on a one-to-one basis or in very small groups, and in the limited number of students admitted to each course.

Link Campus is responding to a continually evolving job market with innovative programmes designed to shape international professionals. Emphasis is placed on foreign language acquisition, comprehensive knowledge of net systems, cooperative business agreements and industrial internships for post graduates, as essential instruments in forming professionals, managers and business leaders. Steady input from top Business and Public Administration officials in the architecture and parturition of study programmes, creates a unique plus at the Malta University both for young students, and for industry. It is also involved in some EU Tempus project : Meda and Tacis in cooperation with EU partner. Since 2006 is started distance learning in Belgrade.
