General Information
It is a Foundation promoted by the civil society of Jávea, with the backing and support of the European Commissioner for External Relations,Benita Ferrero The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Spain, the Government of Valencia and the City Council of Jávea also form part. The work force consists of just 3 people, with responsibilities, As well as this many members of the Foundation are involved in directing and advisory capacities. The budget varies from year to year according to the budgetary assignments from the Public Administrative bodies. In addition, projects are submitted for the receipt of furher funds to private organisations. The Budget for the year 2009 is approximately about 350.000,00 euros. The Foundation will hold yearly conferences, discussions, courses, seminars. Furthermore, the Foundation will sponsor the publication of books, magazines, brochures and audio-visual material. Mission and Objectives

The first objective is the exchange of opinions, ideas and contributions in every field of study and professional activities among young people from the Euro-Mediterranean and Middle Eastern areas, in this way promoting respect for Human Rights and human dignity.
The intention is to serve as an instrument which promotes dialogue among the new generations about ideological, cultural and religious differences that oftentimes produce violent conflicts.
The Foundation will seek the collaboration of Governments, public and private institutions, social and cultural entities, and public and private universities from the Euro-Mediterranean and Middle Eastern areas, in order to reach its objectives.
The Foundation will promote its activities with the collaboration of the European Commission, the Spanish Government, the Government of Valencia, as well as the City Council of Jávea.
The Foundation hopes to carry out some of its activities in other countries of the Euro-Mediterranean and Middle Eastern areas, with the assistance of local institutions

Main Projects / Activities

The Jávea Neighbourhood Forum set out on its activities in 2006 with the “Meeting on the Good Neighbour Policy”.
In July 2007 was celebrated the conference entitled “Euro-Arab Meeting, a Legacy for Future Generations”, in which political representatives from the Euro Mediterranean and Middle East, participated.
In November 2007 the first sectorial activities were held, under the title “Mediterranean Meeting of Young Legal Professionals; Challenges to Global Justice”.
In February 2008, was celebrated the conference entitled, "Israel-Palestine: the area of a thousand and one not… news", who was given,Efraím Halevy, Director of the Centre for Strategic and Political Thought at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
In June 2008 took place the presentation of the book, “Gaza, a prison without a roof” by the reporter Agustín Remesal.
Next week (14th Novembre 2008), will take place the conference titled “How microfinances can strengthen women’s independence” which will be given by Mme. Salma Kadiri(Morocco).

General Information
Le CIREM est une fondation privée à but non lucratif, spécialisée dans la recherche appliquée et l’assistance conseil en matière sociale. Administré par un Conseil d’Administration dont les membres sont issus du monde universitaire, de l’entreprise, de la politique…, il compte avec une trentaine de professionnels, sociologues, économistes, géographes, politologues... ainsi qu’avec un vaste réseaux de collaborateurs spécialisés. Les ressources budgétaires annuelles disponibles s’élèvent à 3.250.000,00 euros : elles proviennent des administrations et entreprises locales, régionales et nationales, fonds de la Coopération Espagnole, de l’UE et d’institutions internationales. Le CIREM travaille dans la réalisation d’études et le développement de projets d’assistance technique en matière sociale, notamment les politiques de l’emploi, la formation et le développement territorial. La fondation travaille en partenariat avec d’autres acteurs espagnols, européens et méditerranéens engagés sur les questions sociales : universités, centres de recherche, organisations sociales, associations, bureaux d’études...

Créé en 1989, le CIREM est un organisme indépendant, à vocation de service public, qui se caractérise par son objectivité et la recherche de qualité et d’innovation.
Sa mission est celle de contribuer à l’amélioration des politiques publiques et de soutenir la résolution des problèmes auxquels se heurtent nos sociétés, moyennant l’actualisation de la connaissance et de son application, de nouveaux outils de travail et des méthodologies adaptées, permettant de dépasser les cadres d’intervention traditionnels.
Le CIREM travaille également au renfort des organisations sociales et participe au progrès des sociétés les moins développées de la région méditerranéenne et à leur intégration économique dans le contexte européen. Sur cette même ligne, le CIREM étend également ses activités dans d'autres sociétés émergentes de l'Amérique Latine.

La Fondation encadre ses projets dans trois grands domaines d’intervention :

Ces domaines d’analyse lui permettent de répondre de façon appropriée aux besoins issus de la nouvelle configuration mondiale caractérisant l’après guerre froide, où se regroupent de nouveaux phénomènes et problèmes sociaux liés à la gouvernance, aux nouveaux flux sociaux, aux déséquilibres économiques ou au besoin d’une croissance durable. Le CIREM étudie également la situation du marché de l'emploi, la formation continue, le développement local ou encore les politiques sociales.

How can you contribute to the Network in your country?

Nous souhaiterions jouer un rôle actif dans l’élaboration du travail de la FAL à l’échelon national, en mettant à contribution notre expérience européenne mais aussi celle que nous avons cumulée dans le bassin méditerranéen. Nous espérons entrer en contact avec les organisations partenaires avec lesquelles pouvoir échanger, voire même collaborer, et, plus largement, prendre part aux activités organisées par la FAL.

Why do you want to join the ALF Network?

Nous partageons avec la FAL le souhait de contribuer au rapprochement des populations des deux côtés de la Méditerranée en vue d’améliorer le respect mutuel entre les cultures. Ceci ne peut se faire, nous semble-t-il, que par la mise en relation d’un maximum d’acteurs diversifiés des différents pays concernés. En ce sens, le réseau FAL constitue une véritable opportunité à laquelle nous souhaiterions contribuer.
Aussi, nous partageons la vision promue depuis la FAL dans ses multiples recommandations aux pouvoirs décisionnaires et aux institutions et adhérons aux valeurs communes du réseau. En plus, dans nos activités nous sommes concernés par plusieurs de ses domaines d’intérêt, notamment l’éducation, la jeunesse, les villes et les migrations.

El impactos social generado es el producto de la cantidad de programas y servicios que ofrecemos a los niños, familias y la comunidad en general, desarrollamos doce programas de asistencia integral que hacen de este proyecto la mejor opción de vida para la niñez, un mundo de oportunidades, de cambios, trasformaciones, acompañados de bienestar y prosperidad, de educación y salud, con atención nutricional y control de crecimiento y desarrollo de cada niño. "We want to help improve opportunities for new generations promoting their talent, supporting culture, and enhancing training and employment in the world of hospitality." Cruzcampo Foundation contributes to the promotion and recognition of Andalusian culture and heritage and promotes the generation of shared wealth through boosting employment-oriented and innovative entrepreneurship programs. The Foundation Cruzcampo Sevilla rehabilitated the old brewhouse historical Cruzcampo factory in Seville, Avda. De Andalucía. With a concert of Spanish music by the group House of the Royal Seville Symphony Orchestra, and attended by several representatives of social economic, political and Andalusian capital, October 27, 1998 the headquarters was opened Foundation.

RED INNPRENDE: the initiative can participate entrepreneurs and startups and SMEs with less than three years or new projects tractor companies that generate value in the Andalusian territory in the agri-food sectors, tourism and hospitality.
Participation is free, funded by the Cruzcampo Foundation.
#TALENTAGE: This is a unique and different experience for those young Andalusian wood leader who want to walk with firm step towards their future.
Through a program of workshops focused on three sessions, this initiative is aimed at the identification, recognition and appreciation of emerging talent in Andalusia. Hand of prominent business leaders, 40 Andalusian universities will have the opportunity to discover the importance of business management, creativity, teamwork, external openness, innovation and leadership models.
SCHOOL HOSPITALITY; The School of Hospitality Foundation Cruzcampo was born in Seville in 2000 and currently has three centers located in Seville, Jaen and Valencia.
Over the past 16 years, they have been formed in all the headquarters of the School of Hospitality Foundation Cruzcampo around 15,000 students from all courses, and have given more than 900 among all existing modalities.

General Information
The FDM is a non-profit organisation that collaborates both with public institutions ad with civil society, other foundations and associations, research institutes ... Its staff is composed by 11 professionals from different areas of expertise. The FDM Scientific Secretariat is located in the Parc Científic of Barcelona, a scientific centre of excellence that houses different research groups and organizations, both independent and affiliated with the University of Barcelona. Its Scientific Committee consists of 23 recognised scientist from 12 different Mediterranean and not Mediterranean countries. The Mediterranean Diet Foundation (FDM) is a non profit organization with a strictly scientific and cultural agenda, whose main objective is the safeguarding of the millennium old heritage shared by the populations of the Mediterranean basin, whose philosophy of life, food and culinary traditions have awakened the interest of eminent scientists from around the globe in the last few decades due to its role in the promotion of population well-being and environmental sustainability.
All FDM activities aim to promote Mediterranean sense of identity and cooperation among the countries of the basin.
In November 2008 FDM was recommended by the UNESCO Intergovernmental Committee for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage to provide advisory services to the Committee.

Main Projects / Activities

- Transnational Technical Coordinator of the Nomination Project for the inscription of the Mediterranean Diet on the Representative List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity of the UNESCO, jointly presented by governments of Greece, Italy, Morocco and Spain.
- Dissemination of new research findings and updates regarding the Mediterranean diet through biennial International Conferences
- Workshops on intangible cultural heritage (mostly focused on food), health and sustainable development, addressed to children, students and consumers.
- Organisation of international meeting on intangible cultural heritage (last one was held on 17th and 18th September in Barcelona. For more details see the News Section www.candidaturadietamediterranea.org.
Publishing of books about the Mediterranean Diet, with volumes directed toward professionals as well as the general public.
- Local, national and European projects aimed to promote healthy diet and protect the continuity of Mediterranean Diet ant its practices.

General Information
The Foundation operates through different kind of projects, within the several departments (demonstrative projects, technical assistance projects, analysis and research, development cooperation and communication). Although the number of employees may vary from year to year, the average for the last years has been 35 people. The sources of funding are diverse, from public subsidies to particular projects, to private companies paying for consulting and environmental services. The Foundation has a wide net of partners and allies not only in Spain but in Latin America and the Maghreb.
Mission and Objectives

Ecology and Development is a private, independent and global, our mission is to help those who want to act for sustainability: a growing minority of individuals, businesses, media, non-profits, and governments that want to practice or sustainability practice in Spain and Latin America.

Main Projects / Activities

The Foundation works in a wide spectrum of fields, from environmental protection and development through specific awareness campaigns, organizations advisory projects, CO"2 emissions reduction projects, social intervention as mediator, etc., to corporate social responsibility actions with public administrations and private organizations in areas such as action plans, human rights protection, climate change commitment, etc. We are the representative in Spain for Carbon Disclosure Project and EIRIS, and belong to several environmental and CSR networks in Spain.
