Al Majd Women’s Association is a non governmental/non political//non profitable Palestinian body, established in October 1995, and was initiated by a group of active women in the district. It is registered at the Palestinian Ministry of Interior under no. 4074, having a General Assembly consisted of 180 members (women), and managed by an Elected Executive Board of seven members. It is located towards the end of Khaled bin Walid St. Al Zuwaida Road Nusseirat Camps. Number of employees is 15 of both genders. Source of funding: • Norwegian People’s Aid (NPA) – Long term Project • World Vision Organization • The MAP Foundation in UK - temporary project
Mission and Objectives

Our mission is to serve the society, enhance the standard of living, and provide a suitable infrastructure for future generations. The association is working on building and developing women’s, children’s, and young people’s abilities.
Objectives:
• To focus on women’s needs and rehabilitate handicapped women.
• To promote the role of the Palestinian woman in society.
• To assist in education, culture, and eradicating illiteracy.
• To promote the social and health status of women through training.
• To provide moral, financial, and mental support social cases.
• To develop talented children’s abilities.
• To participate in reviving and maintaining the Palestinian heritage.
• To participate in exhibitions and festivals.

Al Ma’mal is a non-profit organization, based in a former tile factory located in the New Gate, in the Old City of Jerusalem, and serves its surrounding community and the city’s visitors through a contemporary art programme of learning, creating, and presenting. Since 1998, Al Ma’mal has been a hub for art and education, in spite of the situation on the ground, building bridges with the world and honouring Jerusalem's own enduring qualities as a complex, culturally rich, ageless city. Through the learning and public programs, it has engaged the communities among which it is situated, providing spaces and opportunities for disadvantaged young people – disadvantaged in many more ways than the usual meaning of
mere poverty – to experience the potentialities and liberating impacts of creative action and visual thinking. In the heart of our vision, we consider a vibrant Palestinian society in Jerusalem and its surrounding areas is primordial to ensure the needed diversity, dynamism, and agency for future
generations and we continue to:
● Promote Palestinian art, culture, and heritage through creative and engaging programs and knowledge production.
● Advocate arts and culture for development and raise awareness of the importance of arts and culture in social and community development both locally and internationally.
● Empower and support artists and cultural practitioners with tools, skills, and knowledge for self-expression, development, production, and growth in the respective fields.
● Explore and present Jerusalem through multi-faceted interdisciplinary programs and content about Jerusalem to become a destination for Palestinian

NDF Core staff are 5 staff and 10 project based staff and about 15 youth graduates on volunteer basis, our annual budget $USD 1.5 million- Source of funding INGOs, Fundraising campain, small income projects, and individuals support. Modalities of Actions includes concrete ptrojects, exchanges of youth culture. main partners- MCC, Oxfam GB, World Vision, Anera, Qatter charity.

Mission and Objectives

Al Najd Development Forum (ADF) is non-profit organization that strives to improve the quality of life of children, women, and families who are vulnerable to food insecurity and poverty in Gaza Strip. However; ADF is working in Gaza since 2007 to contributes in poverty eradication (MDG1), and economic development, together with the local communities and women leaders we claim legal, constitutional, and moral rights to food , livelihood, health, shelter, education, and dignity and a voice in decision that affect their lives.

Main Projects / Activities

Food Security and livelihood such as biological gardening targeted 400 battered women in the Gaza strip. Awareness raising and capacity building of women in term of civil rights and human rights . Livlistock includes raising broilers, sheeps, rabits, laying hens. Cash for work activities- public services of youth graduates, painting, gardening,cooking of pastries, sewing workshops, and embroidery. Emergecy responses and relief considered as pioneer NGO in Gaza strip during the Gaza Wars and the internal conflicts.

How can you contribute to the Network in your country?

Exchange experiences and skills gained in the field of Food security and livelihood with other NGOs. Creating local committees, thematic groups, advisory, and steering committeees to support the weakened NGOs technically, managerially, and financially. Working in collaboartive NGOs to complete each other basically in FSL .

Why do you want to join the ALF Network?

To further exchange skills, experiences with other relevant organisationin plastine and regional region. Strenghthening our NGO through cooperation and networking with other NGO in different countries and context. Empowerment and capacity building of our staff through exchange and exposure to innovative and new approaches to work with vunerables and unstable conditions and communities. To maintain sustainability of our project through working and networking with other INGOs in the region.

Al Quds Club – is a Palestinian Association / Establishment – non-governmental, non-profitable, independent from any party, rendering services, voluntary activities, – aiming at enhancing the youth developing potential of the Palestinian Youth in the region of Jerusalem. This is achieved through establishing an equilibrium between enhancing and developing their innovative caliber and creative skills (that qualify them to perform an active role in our Palestinian Society) on one hand – and exploring international horizons for cooperation for them to serve this objective and enhance their leadership role in the field of participation in the development activities and programs in this era – aiming at emphasizing the preservation of their national identity – within the adopted national regulations and laws that direct this activity in Palestine.

Mission and Objectives

Developing the Palestinian Youth in the Jerusalem area, and upgrading their cultural, sportive, social and vocational capacity, and emphasizing the importance of their role in establishing the community civil institutes, and encouraging them to practice this role through research and comprehension, and respecting the cultural and intellectual multiplicity. 2 - Enhancing and clarifying the importance of the role of women in Jerusalem –and encouraging her to attain her role – side by side – with the man in Jerusalem , and achieving the principal of equality of opportunities for her – in cooperation with the Women’s Institutes. 3 - Initiating the Innovation and Contribution spirit in the targeted youth sector in Al Quds club in all the fields leading to its development, adopting the scientific methodology – technique, approach and practice. 4 - To refrain and avoid discrimination in all forms – being racial, religious or social – and prevailing the concepts of Human Rights between youth, and comply to the International Decrees for Human Rights. 5 - Developing relationships with the maximum number of Youth Organizations, Associations and Centers – locally, in the Arab Countries and worldwide that share the same objectives, to get acquainted with the cultures, habits, traditions and problems of youth in our national districts and in the friendly countries – through the youth exchange programs – aiming at upgrading and developing the Youth Sector Jerusalem.

Al Sunonu Orchestra has been established in 2008 by Russian musician Elena Rostropovich as a regional musical initiative for Palestinian Children aiming to group Palestinian adolescent in Syria, Lebanon, Joran, West Bank and Gaza Strip under the umbrella of one educational and musical Programme.  This initiative was the cornerstone of establishing Al Snouno for Arts and Culture Foundation that has been formally registered as a Palestinian charity on February, 2016 to include, in addition to the music learning, other activities of plastic and expressional arts Al Snono is using the power of music for peace-building, connecting people, empowering musicians as social activists, and training children and adolescents as change-makers. Our long-term commitment allows our participants the time to develop skills and talents, process grief and loss, and build bridges of reconciliation in societies divided by recent or ongoing conflict.
Mission and Objectives

Vision:
Al Sonono envisions to be a lighthouse of different arts for kids and young people both females and males that contribute to enhance Arts as a bridge to peace where it will be promoted locally and globally.
Mission:
Al Snouno will work with the people to create an active and inspiring cultural scene through developing a creative, sustainable, diverse activities that focus on Palestinian talents in line with the Palestinian Fakelore to have a positive generation that able to develop a peaceful community.   
Objectives:
1. Providing holistic formation of Gaza children and youth through music education, with special consideration for those from under-served communities.
2. Dissemination of the Culture and Arts and focus on its role in enhancing the Palestinian Identity and educating people to achieve civilized vision.
3. Revival of Palestinian Folklore and protecting its values.
4. Provision of psychosocial support for children and adolescents.  
5. Enhance the cultural scene and increase the care of culture and arts. 
6. Support the Palestinian talents, encourage their educational skills as well as build the capacities of young leaders able to understand diversity and practice innovation.
7. Represent Palestinian in local, regional and international events 
8. Establish an audio-visual library

Main Projects / Activities

Al Snouno Programms:
• Psychosocial Support Programme:
Many studies have evidenced the beneficial effects of music therapy in patients with psychological disorders. The use of music as a form of therapy has shown beneficial effects in patients with psychological problems such trauma. It has been demonstrated that patients with mental disorders perceive the expressiveness of the music the same way than without mental illness. The results support that the music is a good therapeutic modality for individuals with mental illness.
In the context of Gaza Strip and the different wars and crises, People specially children and adolescents faced serious disorders. Al Snouno’s programs reaching out people with such problems and managed to decrease such problems. 
• Al Snouno chorale (choir):
It’s a chorale that gathers Palestinian Children within an educational – musical programme to preserve and highlight Palestinian and Classical Arabic folklore. Besides,  it enhances children’s energy, build self-confidence and encourage spirit of teamwork through group activities. It helps children to be ambassadors to Culture in their community. 
• Instrumental Music training Programme:
This programme is a place for all talented in music to develop their cacapaties though a systematic and organized academic programme through different level within individual and group lessons.
Children and adolescents are trained in more than 15 musical instruments (western and Arabic) as well as musicianship for young people to develop their interest and potential in music. Trainees would attend a one to two hours’ group lesson at Al Snouno center every week.
In addation, Al Snoun manages the Plastic Arts Programme, Dabke and Palestinian Folklore, Library and Arts Forum

Mission and Objectives

Al Tawasol Forum Society is an independent Palestinian society that tries to activate the role of youth and children in their communities in a democratic society through the strategic directions adopted by the society that include; community and political participation of youth for both gender, the development of youth, and the protection of child rights, human generations, training and capacity-building, Decreasing poverty among young people, networking and advocacy with relevant parties.
