The aim of the project is develop tailor-made tools for inter-ethnic dialogue in support of peace building activities in war- and conflict affected areas in Palestine and Israel. Examples of best practices in peace-building and with cooperation during the war conflict in Croatia in the period between 1991 and 1995 will be discussed through first-hand recollections and experiences of activists directly involved in peace activities during that period, from both opposite sides: Serbs and Croats. In this exchange of experiences with peace-activists and trainers from Croatia, capacities of young people from Israel and Palestine will be increased and they will be better able to launch peace building initiatives in their local communities. Through mutual cooperation and support, young people active in peace- and community building in Israel, Palestine, Croatia and The Netherlands will feel strengthened and will develop new peace building initiatives, activities and projects, also as a toolkit and example for others.

The aim of the project is to increase capacities of young people and the partners from Israel and Palestine for initiating peace building activities and inter-ethnic dialogue in conflict-areas, while also learning from and making use of experiences and best practices from Croatia.
