The Archaeological State Collection in Munich has a collection of artefacts representing central European and Mediterranean Arts and Archaeology. We have about 60 employees responsible for the main collection and 11 daughter museums in Bavaria. The budgetary provided by the state is fixed to different sectors of our work (conservation, research, museum work etc.). For exhibitions and public affairs the regular budget p.a. is about 90.000 €. Additionally we have different funding by science or cultural foundations. Concrete projects: preparation of the big Exhibition: "Alexander the Great - Ruler of the world (2013)". Our main partners are Archaeological Museums and Institutions in Germany and Europe.
