The General Unioun Of Culturale Centers is Head Of Palestinian National Network
The General Union of Cultural Centers (GUCC) is a non-governmental, non- profit, non-partisan and independent organization founded in Gaza in June 1997 to organize the relation between the cultural centers and institutions as a format and to be responsible to their development towards empowerment and achieving successful fulfillment. The GUCC works as a civil organization to increase public awareness through culture and education, further more to strengthen all efforts may achieve and deepen creative generations. It seeks for compliance of its goals and maintaining democracy through strengthening civil society organizations and realizing its efficiency.
The GUCC works through many tactics and strategies to achieve goals through conducting democratic platforms and forums, free thought and opinion, exchange ideas, cultural events including theatre festivals, exhibits, music, and conferences, capacity building and educational training and programs, youth exchange and public opinion polls.
