- Innovation and Entrepreneurship
Inesto is a hybrid social enterprise founded in 2021, combining a non-profit organization with a startup benefit corporation. Our core team consists of 5 full-time staff members, supported by a network of freelance experts and local partners across Europe.
Our annual budget ranges from €50,000 to €150,000, with funding sourced from a mix of revenue from our services, grants, and impact investments.
We operate through various modalities, including:
- Designing and implementing regenerative placemaking projects
- Offering consultancy services on sustainability and impact measurement
- Organizing immersive co-living experiences and cultural exchanges
- Conducting workshops and training programs on social innovation
Our main partners include local municipalities, cultural institutions, universities, and socially responsible businesses across the Euro-Mediterranean region. We also collaborate with international networks like Impact Hub, EOI, POLIHUB and creative incubators.
Inesto's mission is to revitalize rural and underserved areas across the Euro-Mediterranean region through innovative "Culture as a Service" models that leverage arts, creativity, and social innovation.
Our key objectives are:

- To foster intercultural dialogue and exchange between local residents and international creatives
- To preserve and celebrate local cultural heritage while introducing new ideas and skills
- To develop and implement data-driven methodologies for measuring and amplifying social impact
