Jan Masaryk Centre of International Studies is one of the departments of the Faculty of International Relations at the University of Economics in Prague. Jan Masaryk Centre was created at the beginnings of 90´s after ending of communism regime. It has about 20 employees, professors, scientists, researchers, young teachers and assistants, PhD students.Jan Masaryk centre is a public institution ,it ensures educations for students included education of 3rd age, then it participates at research in the specialization of the international relations, international politics and diplomacy, developing countries, cultural plurality, world civilizations. Jan Masaryk Centre cooperates with Czech United Nations Association (Czech UNA) in Prague in the field of the UN, process of globalization and also in the cultural plurality – dialogue between cultures, and with Central and East European International Association (CEEISA) in Prague focusing on Europe, its security, development, cultures.

Mission and Objectives: 

To educate students, people at all in the field of international relations and diplomacy
- cultural anthropology, world cultures and civilizations including Arab/Islam world
- developing countries including Near East, Middle East, North Africa
- Euro-Mediterranean partnership
- globalization, global security, EU, UN and reforms
- international politics
- diplomatic protocol and law
