General Information
Turkish Cultural Foundation (TKV) - a non-profit, volunteer-based educational organization, it's the world's original and most diverse student exchange program. Currently operating in 55 countries, AFS believes that carefully selected students during an extended stay in a foreign country and culture will not only learn another language but also develop international understanding and an appreciation of global interdependence. The office staff is 7 people whereas there are 80 active volunteers. TKV mainly organizes short-term and long-term home-stay school based exchange programs for high school students. Other activities are short-term volunteer exchange programs and seminars. The main partners are other AFS organizations in the network .
Mission and Objectives

Turkish Cultural Foundation (TKV) is committed to providing intercultural learning opportunities, helping people to develop the knowledge, skills and understanding needed to create a more just and peaceful world.
Supporting this program does not only provide exceptional benefits available for the young people themselves, but also profoundly influence their families and the communities in which they live.

Main Projects / Activities
