- On the basis of the experience of the first festival :« Découvertes Tunisie 21 », organized under the aegis of EL Jem international festival of classical music in 1999 and autonomous , the association pursues 4 principal objectives :
-To mobilize EL Jem youth and students interested in the field of arts and culture,
- To Multiply and qualify EL Jem's cultural manifestations .
- To develop local competences in the organization of spectacles , to create bridges between the Mediterranean Northern and Southern rivers to enrich dialogue Euro Mediterranean conditions .
AJE is the organizing structure of "Découvertes Tunisie 21" festival , Tunisian creation and world music ,which is held each end of August . Beyond that,it is a partner of various cultural manfestations at EL Jem and aims to become an operator of the local cultural policy implementation .
Since its launching and benefitting from the co-operation decentralized programs between El Jem and Novels cities , it is also partner in different projects of of networks of cultural actors around the Mediterranean (IRMA trainings , Biennial of Romans International , 'the World 'youth Exchange network …).
