ALFUK National Network Meeting, the final one for this period 2015 - 2017, has dates set for 31st August to the 1st September 2017 in Manchester.
Full details will be distributed to memebrs in due course, but we have a rough schedule of activity already planned:
Arrive in Manchester 12 noon for lunch and networking till 1pm at Luther King House
Afternoon Session 1 - Future of the Network, Updates and Actions 1 - 2.15
Afternoon Session 2 - Refugee Toolkit new developments and opportunities 2.30 - 3.30
Afternoon Session - Inter-culteral Citizenship Education Update -3.30 - 4.30
4.30 - Rest and refresh
6.30 - Dinner
8.00 - Event GRRRL - intercultural performance from women of colour across the world at Soup Kitchen Manchester.
10.00 am - Capacity Building - Funding Finance and Social Enterprise
We have started to gather speakers from the main funds, to discuss future funding issues, opportunities and more. So far we have British Council, Arts Council and Big Lottery. There will also be a talk on Social Enterprise models and development. Workshop sessions anticipated as part of this process. During this time we will also be doing some evaluations of the work carried out on this round of the funds. Vox Pops from members etc.

1.30 - 2.30 - Afternoon Session - Open for suggestions from members, if you have specific wish to cover topics, issues, communications or other activities please let me know.
Anticipate to close 4pm for everyone to return home.
