For another year, the IEMed and the Anna Lindh Foundation are organising the youth literary contest "A Sea of Words 2020". This edition aims to put forward the central role played by young people by giving them a voice to explain their own experiences and emotions in relation to climate change in the Mediterranean and the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

Submissions in any of the official languages of the Euro-Mediterranean countries are accepted by 17 May 2020. Please find all the information in English, French, Spanish and Catalan on the IEMed website: https://seaofwords.iemed.org/2020 and on the Facebook account of IEMed.

The Literary Competition, which was co-founded in 2008 by the Anna Lindh Foundation and the European Institute for the Mediterranean (IEMED), targets young authors from the Mediterranean region. In this way, the Competition also aims to give a voice to a new generation of authors on issues of cultural diversity: https://www.annalindhfoundation.org/sea-words-literary-competition
