Event report on “Sustainable development in the Euro-Mediterranean - Aligning Covid-19 recovery with the 2030 Agenda” now available!

On July 2nd, 2020, the Anna Lindh Foundation and Friends of Europe co-organised an online High-level policy insight debate on aligning regional recovery from Covid-19 with the fulfilment of the United Nation’s 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The online debate https://www.annalindhfoundation.org/news/high-level-policy-insight-virtual-debate-co-organised-alf-and-friends-europe-aligning-covid-19 emphasized the need of enhanced partnerships in the Euro-Mediterranean area; a redoubled commitment to multilateral solutions; and increased empowerment of young people through education and technology to ensure that the region’s emergence from the coronavirus pandemic advances wider sustainable development goals.
