The second edition of the Mediterranean Youth Academy Program (MYA) is organised by the Egyptian Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Mediterranean Youth Foundation in partnership with the Anna Lindh Foundation and other regional and international organisations, under the auspices of H.E. Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, the Prime Minister of Egypt.
Mediterranean Youth Academy (Second edition) will facilitate dialogue between Europe, Asia, and Africa and build the capacity of 120 young leaders during a week-long training program aimed at raising awareness about the challenges facing the Mediterranean countries (unemployment, climate crisis, migration, gender inequality) and engaging young people in facing those challenges.
The MYA will take place during the period from 14-19 September 2022 in Alexandria, Egypt.
The deadline for the online application is the 25th of June 2022 at 11:00 pm (Cairo Time).
There are no participation fees required to attend the MYA. The program shall cover full board accommodation for selected participants. Travel costs may be catered for in case funding is made available by partners.
