The Anna Lindh Foundation and the Maltese Presidency of the Council of the European Union are organising an evening reception event on:
Young Mediterranean Voices:
Debating A Global Strategy for Youth, Peace and Security
This social evening will allow policy-makers to engage with young leaders and CSO networks for an informal exchange on UN Security Council Resolution (SCR) 2250, the fist Resolution of its kind on Youth, Peace and Security. A reception will follow to mark the end of the Maltese Presidency.
The evening is being organised in partnership with the Anna Lindh Foundation, co-founder of the flagship regional debate programme “Young Mediterranean Voices” and member of the steering group for the Progress Study on UN SCR 2250.
The discussion will mark a first step in the preparation of the European Consultation for the Progress Study that has been scheduled to take place in Brussels in September 2017, as recently backed by the EU High Representative for Foreign A airs, and aims to build an EU-wide position on Youth, Peace and Security.
