Register Now: "Youth and Employability in MENA: Better Skills, More Jobs" Conference in Egypt

The Anna Lindh Foundation and strategic partners including is the World Bank, CMI, AFD, UNIMED and the Egyptian Ministry of Investment and International Cooperation the are co-organising “Youth and Employability in MENA: Better Skills, More Jobs” conference, which will take place in Cairo on 9-10 July 2017. 

The two-day conference aims to leverage existing research and analytical tools to identify the main challenges facing youth employment in the MENA region. The conference will bridge theory with practical applications by focusing on good practices that can help connect youth to jobs, start a new business, or manage periods of unemployment.

The conference will target policy makers, technical experts from different MENA governments and agencies, international organisations, private sector, youth and civil society. The conference will be interactive and will encourage active participation and discussion among participants.

It is expected that the conference will lead to the identification of concrete policy and operational recommendations to tackle some of the region’s most pressing job challenges for youth.
