Professor of political science at the Universities Hassan II, Casablanca, Morocco and Aix-en-Provence, France. Tozy is the Director of the Citizenship School of Political Studies in Morocco. Mohamed Tozy’s research focuses on religious and Islamist affairs in contemporary Morocco, the anthropology of the Mediterranean world, the sociology of religion, and the political systems of the Arab countries.
