Communications Officer with WHO. In the past Marrouch worked for Reuters Video News, BBC Arabic, CBS, and Al Jazeera, as TV and Digital producer and researcher. She graduated from New York University with an M.A. in Journalism through a Fulbright scholarship and worked, before moving to London, as the Beirut-based field producer for the National Public Radio (NPR) and before that as Special Correspondent for the LA Times covering mainly Syria. She received the 2012 Anna Lindh Mediterranean Journalist Award for Reporting Across Cultures.
