Abdel Baghy is specialized in peace and development in MENA and Africa, Taynja Abdel Baghy has worked as consultant for the United Nations in Brussels and previously for the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Paris. Taynja Abdel Baghy co-authored the report ‘Understanding African armies’ for the EU Institute for Security Studies in 2016. Before that, she gained experiences at the International Crisis Group and the United Nations Development Programme.
