Project "Persian carpet" refers to the Persian traditional decorative art, which is the heritage of the country. At the same time Persian carpets were objects of desire and trade around the world, gradually becoming a piece of equipment household in every latitude. The title object is thus a symbol of the contribution of the local culture of a region to global culture. The project aims to show the cultural diversity as a positive value, greatly enriching local culture. The organizers want to extend the operating concept of culture by pointing to alternative cultural patterns.

We want to disseminate knowledge about the culture of Muslim countries so to counteract concerns about the arrival of refugees from these countries.
We want to be in contact with other organisations working in the area of European - Mediteranean cooperation as to collaborate with them on many levels.
