Mission and Objectives

Thinking Academy Mandate
• Our Mission: To empower, educate, and elevate the lives of refugees, migrants, and host communities in Egypt through sustainable and inclusive development initiatives.

• Our Pillars:
a) Youth Empowerment: Recognizing the transformative power of the younger generation, Thinking Academy nurtures this potential through dynamic youth empowerment programs. We provide platforms for skill development, leadership, and active citizenship, employability and entrepreneurship education that equip young people to be agents of positive change in their communities.
b) Gender Equality: At the core of our work lies a strong commitment to gender equality. We actively work to dismantle inequalities and empower all genders, particularly focusing on women and girls, to ensure that their voices are heard and their talents are recognized and nurtured.
c) Environmentalism: In our pursuit of sustainability, we empower our communities to be guardians of the environment. Our environmental programs are designed to foster eco-consciousness and practical action, from local clean-up campaigns to educational workshops on conservation and responsible stewardship.
d) Health Care: Our commitment to holistic community wellness is reflected in our health care endeavours. We provide access to essential medical services, preventive health education, and mental health support, ensuring that well-being is a collective achievement, not a privilege.

• Our Commitment:
o To Youth: Foster a generation of informed, empowered, and proactive youth who are equipped to lead their communities towards a brighter future.
o To Refugees and Migrants: Provide the tools, resources, and support necessary to build a new life with dignity, self-sufficiency, and hope.
o To Healthcare: Ensure access to comprehensive health care services that promote physical and mental well-being for all, without discrimination.
o To the Environment: Advocate for and practice environmental protection and sustainability, instilling a sense of responsibility towards our shared planet.
o To Gender Equality: Promote and uphold gender equality, working to create spaces where all genders can prosper through equitable opportunities and rights.

• Our Approach:
o Incorporate community-driven solutions that reflect the needs and voices of those we serve.
o Collaborate with local and international partners to magnify impact and foster innovation.
o Uphold transparency, accountability, and excellence in all our endeavours.

• Our Manifesto
We, at Thinking Academy, believe in the power of ideas, the strength of community, and the boundless potential of the human spirit.
We Envision:
o A world where education is the bridge to opportunities and a tool for overcoming the challenges of displacement and integration.
o A society where every young person can dream big and act boldly to realize those dreams.
o A community where health and well-being are prioritized, ensuring a strong foundation for growth and prosperity.
o An environment that is nurtured and respected, safeguarding its riches for the present and future generations.
o A future where gender does not dictate one's path or potential, and equality is the norm, not the exception.
We Believe:
o Every individual has the right to live a life marked by dignity, respect, and opportunity.
o Empowerment comes through education, which unlocks doors to self-determination and societal contributions.
o Health is a universal right that underpins the vitality and productivity of communities.
o Environmental stewardship is a collective responsibility essential for the survival and flourishing of our planet.
o Gender equity is fundamental to the fabric of a just and progressive society.
Through these interconnected programs, Thinking Academy is not just an institution, but a movement. We are dedicated to nurturing a resilient society where education empowers, health is safeguarded, the environment is cherished, and gender equality is realized.
