‘A Sea of Words’ concludes with an awards ceremony in Barcelona

The 16th edition of the youth literary contest "A sea of words" culminated on the 8th of November,  with an outstanding awards ceremony held at the emblematic El Born CCM in Barcelona, co-organized by the IEMed, the Anna Lindh Foundation, the مؤسسة شباب المتوسط - Mediterranean Youth Foundation and the Union for the Mediterranean, among other notable collaborators such as Casa Mediterráneo and the AECID. The finalists of the contest came from different countries of the Mediterranean.

 The evening counted with the awards ceremony, an interesting debate on "Artificial intelligence and youth: ethical commitment and critical thinking" and a captivating performance by the band OMßRA. The digital entrepreneur Edgar Pons participated in the debate; Nadine Zammit, the first prize-winning author, and Mohamed El Amrani, prominent communicator and social entrepreneur.

Among the audience, there were more than 90 young people from several Euro-Mediterranean countries who were participating in the III Mediterranean Youth Academy, organized by the Union for the Mediterranean.
