HEALTH, EDUCATION AND CULTUR ASSOCIATION Our association was established to undertake  activities in the education, health and culture fields. All of our members are university graduates, experienced in their field, are known around the people. In addition, we have  staffs who are  experienced to prepare  about national and international grant projects . Our city has a great potential,  very ancient history and culture with a huge population more than one million. We want to share our knowledge to people who live in our region and all over the world. Net Film Productions is the private company that runs !f istanbul International Independent Film Festival. It is run by two partners Serra Ciliv and Pelin Turgut who founded !f istanbul in 2001, Turkey’s first and only festival dedicated to independent cinema. !f screens mainly in Istanbul and Ankara as well as many different cities via broadcasting. During the preparation and implementation months of the festival, there are upto 70 people working for the festival. The festival's budget is provided by ticket sales, private compnaies' sponsorship, international funds, and some state funding. Net Film's main activity if !f istanbul, the film festival, which, apart from film screenings, includes workshops, lectures, music events, and other performances. !f istanbul works with more than 10 partners every year, depending on the themes of the year. Every February, it hosts some 70,000 film buffs and celebrated filmmakers from around the world
Mission and Objectives

Dedicated to investigating directions cinema is taking, the festival is based around thematic sections, which change every year. !f istanbul has an interdisciplinary outlook in creating its activities every year- merging cinema with different forms of art and activism.
In 2008, !f launched an international film competition - !f Inspired- designed to showcase emerging directors who are taking film in new directions. The competition carries a $15,000 prize for the Most Inspired Director. !f Istanbul is not only a film festival and also an intersection contact point for the audience through the films, parties, and events such as workshops, conferences, exhibitions.

Main Projects / Activities

Apart from its film screenings, !f istanbul has an international competition for young directors, a showcase for Turkish filmmakers, and extensive range of workshops and performances based on the year's themes every year. For the last two years, the festival has also been organizing !f ²: Istanbul Live- film screenings in partnership with 25 different cities' art platforms, youth groups and cultural organizations.

3H Movement is a classical liberal youth organisation in Turkey. 3H stands for our three core values: hürriyet (freedom), hukuk (law), and hoşgörü (toleration). 3H Movement is composed of students and young professionals from all shades of classical liberalism. Established in 2006, the organisation has been the voice for liberty among the Turkish youth. 3H continues to organise seminars, conferences, congresses, roundtables, demonstrations, protests and grassroots campaigns through which new members are recruited and the word of liberty is spread.

General Information
The non-profit off-space was founded by Nancy Atakan and Volkan Aslan in 2008. Marcus Graf, a local curator has also been working with us but took a year's leave to finish his doctoral thesis. Four to five university students work with us on a voluntary basis. There are no employees. Nancy Atakan owns the space and provides heat, electricity, internet access, water, and basic maintenance of the space. There are no other sources of funding. A few of our projects include working with 3 international groups in our space, had a joint project with Bilgi University, sponsored two solo exhibitions, held 3 curated shows, conducted 2 research projects, and opened our space during the 10th International Istanbul Biennial for a curatorial workshop.
Mission and Objectives

For the space, we envisioned a library with an archive of artists, curators, and art initiative portfolios, a corridor to show video artworks, and a store window to be used as an exhibition space. One of our main aims was to host international projects and interactive events involving artist talks, workshops and round table discussions. In addition, we hoped to share our work with our neighbors and give art management, art history, public relations, and visual art students an opportunity to work with professionals on all levels of project planning and execution.

Main Projects / Activities

As a part of the 10th International Istanbul Biennial the project, Big Family Business, conducted discussions, artist presentations, exhibitions, and used the space as a meeting spot for curators and artists. Several local off-spaces have shown in our space including MASA, Atilkkunst, and NOMAD. The video festival organization, KURYE, has moved their archives of over a 1000 artists video works to 5533. Another student/professional project was “Manifatura@5533” involving interconnection of art, design and craft. Students of art management, performing arts, and design at Istanbul Bilgi University worked with students from Georgia and Armenia.the German Kunstgymnastik group conducted a workshop for art-mediation/art-education. the Düsseldorf based nüans group joined with the Istanbul based Alti Aylik Group for the project "On Produceabilty" that included artists from Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Stockholm, London, Berlin, Düsseldorf, Los Angeles, Paris, and Istanbul. Other artists and curators have shown in the space. 5533 participated in Istanbul Off-Space Berlin at Kunstraum Keruzberg-Bethanien It will be an alternative space with an exhibition for the 11th Istanbul biennial. AB Politikalari Enstitusu- EU Politics Institute is working for sustainable development. There are 500 volunteer members and 7 professional staff at the organisation. The most important point of the council of LA-21 is a governance. There are representatives of high school student union, university and non governmental organizations in our council. We are deciding about the decition all together. There are many working groups in our youth council: Culture Sport and Art, Drugs, Environment, European Union Projects, Street Kids and Youth Policy. We are organising panels, environmental tours, concerts and youth projects in our local. We are taking part in youth exchange projects as a host and partner. Yalova is a founder member of National Youth Parliament and represents Marmara Region in Executive Board. As a result of the productive activities and well done projects, Yalova Local Agenda 21 Youth Council has a price of “The Best Council of the Turkey” at the 2. General Assembly of LA-21 National Youth Parliament in 2006. Municipality is supporting financially.

Mission and Objectives

ACPAI is a civil and non-profit organization that aims at bringing about a transformative movement in the field of contemporary performing arts in Turkey by bringing together independent artists, groups, stages, theoreticians, instructors, cultural managers and academicians working in the field. It is an initiative which organizes projects, activities and conduct lobby activities to strengthen contemporary theatre and dance areas, and to bring prestige and visibility to them. The initiative was established in June 2005 as a platform, and it gained corporate status in August 2007 by establishing its own association.
Organizing regular meetings and activities since 2005, the Association aims in the long-run at: constructing an effective and sustainable space of creation for itself and its audience; creating an appropriate production environment for works that search for new means of expression and get in touch with its audience; developing and maintaining a new and diversified audience; investigating the contemporary dynamics of the time; being visible and transforming visibility into a cultural aspect; taking part in processes of cultural policy formulation and implementation; and in this way contributing to the development of civil society in general.
