The REC Country Office Slovakia (www.rec.sk) was established in 1992 and has developed excellent cooperation with non-governmental organizations (NGOs), ministries, local municipalities, academic institutions and businesses. The office prepared the Slovak Republic's National Strategy for Sustainable Development while cooperating with more than 150 experts.

Le Fonds National des ONG est le Chef de File du Réseau National de la Fondation Anna Lindh en Slovaquie. La mission de ce Fonds est de s’assurer de la protection permanente des sites qui font partie du patrimoine du pays, et qui ont une valeur historique ou représentent des sites naturels d’exception, et qui nécessitent ainsi une préservation, dans l’intérêt de la Slovaquie et de ses habitants.

Au-delà de ce rôle, le Fonds organise des programmes d’échanges, des travaux sur site pour la reconstruction d’objets à valeur historique, et publie OKNO (« fenêtre ») – magazine sur l’environnement historique.

Depuis 2003, le Fonds National des ONG est le siège du Secrétariat du Réseau Européen des Organisations pour le Patrimoine National. Affilié à la fois à l’Organisation Internationale des Fonds Nationaux et en tant que plateforme à l’échelle nationale pour les ONG travaillant dans le domaine du patrimoine appelé DOMOVINA (« patrie ») – le Fonds National des ONG est un point de rencontre unique entre les organisations nationales et internationales dont la mission est en rapport avec le patrimoine.

School of Communication and Media, n.o. has been established in February 2008 in Bratislava. It is the first institution of this kind in Slovakia which has been founded without personnel or institutional relationship to already existing educational institutions in Slovakia.

Civic Association Slovakia - Argentine company SLARS, o.z. was established for cooperation between Slovak Republic and Argentina. The structure of organisation is divided into 4 working groups devoted to a particular issue and in 1 common group dedicated to common issues such as administrative and promotional aspects of the functioning of organisation. in this common group are involving all members automatically.

LIST of first projects - Regular newsletter every three months in PDF form - Preparation of the initial path to Argentina with tasks that would be there to address the four goals - Preparation of the arrival of a delegation from Argentina associated with the conference and workshops with activists from different regions and introduction projects operating in the Slovak Republic, - Create offices and libraries SLARS with regular information workshops, and its grand opening - Project Hispanic world and cooperation on the basis of SLARS activities with other latino countries - Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Ecuador Goal 3: - Community garden as a pilot project of self-sufficiency in Bratislava´s city part Krasňany - The project is already in the world, we have soon area, the land and list of activities which must be done Goal 3 and 4: - Kukučín (footsteps Slovak writer in Argentina)

SGI staff is divided in three categories: partners, junior researchers, external associates and currently SGI has four students for short-term internship.Partners are key stakeholders responsible for managing their projects.Executive director is one of partners and his crucial responsibility is daily management of the organization and its economy. One of junior researchers serves as office manager and both participate in projects.External associates are included and participate in those projects, which are focused on their specific expertise. SGI is funded by many international organizations. Our main donors are Open Society Institute, European Commission – European Social Fund and Open Society Foundation etc. Institute of Public Policy at Faculty of social and economic sciences, Comenius University in Bratislava is one of two most important partners for Slovak Governance Institute. Second is Transparency International Slovakia. Some of SGI staff have participated as researchers, analysts and co-authors or author of TIS publications.

Slovak Governance Institute’s mission is to improve the process of making and implementing decisions on the allocation of public resources to meet the society’s needs to ensure good, accessible, transparent and effective public services.

Main Projects / Activities

SGI has implemented number of projects in different fields related to policy-making. The assignments carried out by SGI include public administration assessments and changes, policymaking and policy implementation, human resources enhancement and capacity building. Thus, SGI operates in the following fields of specialization:
• Public administration and fiscal policy (includes public administration management and reform, fiscal management and organizational issues, organizational audits, assessments and restructuring, capacity building and institutional strengthening in public sector, including human resources and civil service professional standards development and training design and delivery)

The National Trust of Slovakia was appointed by Ministry of Foreign Affairs, then re-elected by members in June 2013 as the Head of the ALF Slovak Network.

The mission of the NGO National Trust of Slovakia is to secure the permanent protection of national heritage sites, valuable historical objects and sites of natural beauty and their preservation for the benefit of Slovakia and its people.

Beyond that, the National Trust organizes exchange programs, works in the on-site reconstruction of historic objects and publishes OKNO ("window") – a magazine about historic environment.

Since January 2003, the National Trust of Slovakia is the seat of the Secretariat of the European Network of National Heritage Organizations. As a member of both the International National Trust Organization and a domestic platform of heritage NGOs called DOMOVINA – "homeland" - the National Trust is an ultimate connecting point between national and international heritage organizations.

is curated project space focused on a permanent scanning and presentation of most innovative and experimental art. Our mission is to create interactive space for communication of audience with contemporary art and to initiate international cooperation and exchange.
SPACE exists since 1999 and initiated 2 international networks: Billboart gallery Europe and Crazycurators.org, organised 5 international conferences, more than 60 exhibitions and number of other events. In 2006 SPACE organised Crazycurators Biennale, Crazycurators Award and started SPACE Residency Lab in Bratislava. Founder of a gallery and curator of projects is Juraj ?arn? /CV enclosed/.

St. Ursula Basic school is a Catholic, creative, human school for children in age 6 to 15. It offers an intensive nine-year educational program in the fields or school subjects of Slovak, Mathematics, Religious Studies, English, German, Art, Chemistry, Games, Geography, History, IT, Music, Physical Education, Physics, Science, Olympiad and other competitions, environment and human protection,etc. 2006-2007 ENROLMENT : 317 students, 39 staff employed Number of students depends on available budgetary recources in every year. The Government of The Slovak republic is a source of funding. Modalities of action and main partners involved in the organization's projects/activities: 1. concrete projects - Socrates Comenius I / Poland, Roumania - INFOVEK / Ministry of education of The Slovak republic 2. exchanges – Switzerland in St.Gallen
Mission and Objectives

The school work runs in declaration GRAVISSIMUS EDUCSTIONIS` thoughts. The Declaration expects same culture and educational objectives in Catholic school as well as in other non-Catholic school. Actually the Catholic school enables the students to develop their potentials in educational process and it gives spiritual insight to life and hand by hand goes human culture, education, knowledge and students religious belief.

COMENIUS focuses on the first phase of education, from pre-school and primary to secondary school, and it is addressed to all members of the education community in the broad sense – pupils, teachers, other education staff, but also local authorities, parents' associations, non-government organisations ...
COMENIUS supports school partnerships, projects for the training of school education staff, and school education networks. It thus aims to enhance the quality of teaching, strengthen its European dimension and promote language learning and mobility.
COMENIUS also emphasises certain important issues: learning in a multi-cultural framework, which is the cornerstone of European citizenship, support for disadvantaged groups, countering under-achievement at school and preventing exclusion.
INFOVEK SLOVAKIA – also emphasises certain important issues: to get ready students for their future and to apply their knowledge in IT community in the 21th century.
