Mission and Objectives

The mission of the National Trust of Slovakia is to secure permanent protection and sustainable use of historic environment - heritage sites, objects of great values, and sites of natural beauty for the benefit of Slovakia and its people. Our aim is to support the conservation of the historic environment which we understand as all the processes of looking after a place so as to retain its cultural significance which one can defined as meaning the aesthetic, historic, scientific, social or spiritual value for past, present and future generations. Cultural significance is embodied in the place itself, its fabric, setting, use, associations, meanings, records, related places, people and objects and it may change as a result of the continuing history of the place.

Main Projects / Activities

Creation of the Centre of Cultural Heritage in Slovakia, organisation of educational projects/exchange programs, socio-cultural events, exhibitions, working holidays, organisation of Open Parks and Gardens Weekend, Reconstruction of NTS properties – Bartosova Lehôtka and Historic House in Bratislava Old Town. Active involvement in the International National Trusts Organisation (INTO).

General Information
The applicant is a teacher at a state-owned university. The institution is funded from the state budget. The Department of Modern Philologies, being one of nine academic departments of the Faculty, has at present 10 members. Apart from teaching and research activities the Department organises domestic and international conferences for teachers of foreign languages. Its main partners are language departments in the SR and abroad, in particular in the Czech Republic and in Germany.
Mission and Objectives

The Faculty of Education, Trnava University professes the Christian and humanist traditions of its predecessor -- Trnava University of 1635 - 1777. Its main area of activity is education of future primary and secondary school teachers.

Main Projects / Activities

The applicant has been involved in TEMPUS mobility projects and in research projects in intercultural communication and corporate culture.

General Information

1.STAFF: 10 intern, other stable extern operators from Slovakia and abroad create Truc spherique. Truc spherique also includes tenths of volunteers from the region and abroad. 2.Annual budget: around 80 000 Euro 3.Not regular funding available. But we are usually supported via variety of donors and sponsors like Ministery of Culture of Slovak Republic, European Union Programs – Youth, Socrates – Grundtvig 2, Nadácia rpe deti Slovenska – Fond hodina de?om, TRUST Program, European Cultural Foundation, International Visegrad Fund, Goethe Institut Bratislava, Kofola, Isover, … 4.production, education and creation of variety of art projects in the field of contemporary art 5.Trans Europe Halles – A European network of independent cultural centres, Artfactories, European Cultural Foundation 6. There is a mesh of transport routes called Rondel. Trolleybuses circle the overpass above and pedestrians walk the subway below.

Mission and Objectives

Truc spherique, NGO, is an open platform linking contemporary arts with social development. We are comitted to the contemporary arts and culture that are more than an extension or leisure time activity – they are the means of creativity development, personal growth and discovering new forms of communication. We bring the culture from the edge to the centre of interest and, for us, it is more determining for creating new visions than any political or economical reasons are.

Main Projects / Activities

We operate cultural centre STANICA where we organize and run: performances, concerts, projections, discussions, workshops, art residencies, community and social activities, graphic design, cultural policy, intenet cafe, waiting room.

Wasla is a nonprofit organization based in Bratislava, Slovakia. It aims to support intercultural exchange in creative sector, develop multinational and international cultural dialogue through culture and literature. Wasla also supports the work of literary  translators and writers and encourages any innovations in the field of intercultural exchange and artistic ceation.  Wasla is usually funded by donations, and is run primarily by volunteers, works with ieganizations and individuals across Europe and beyond, especially in Mediterranean area.

For this mission we organize educational, social, cultural activities: workshops, seminars and training courses for the target groups. We also offers a residence for translators from Europe in different Arab countries. Wa realize publishing and consulting services.

General Information
1. General assembly represents the highest decision-making body of RMS, President is head of Board, represents legal head of RMS. Board consists of 5-7 members (incl. president) elected by GA for 2 years.RMS has currently 4 full-time staff members employed. 2.For 2008 our budget is 154.000 Euro. 3.Majority of finances comes as a subsidy from Ministry of Education of Slovak republic, projects are being financed from Youth in Action program, International Visegrad Fund and Central European institute. 4. Youth policy analysis, seminars and conferences in the area of volunteering and non-formal education, intercultural dialogue. Trainings. 5. Other national youth councils in Europe, international insitutions (EC, CoE, UN agencies) and national institutional partners (MSSR, Iuventa, universities.)
Mission and Objectives

RMS is umbrella organization associating more than 42 children and youth organizations (over 70,000 young people). RMS is since 1990 serving organizations regardless to their political, national or ethnic background. The main target of the RMS is to influence state policy in compliance with legal order and to create conditions for the universal, free and democratic development of children and young people and to achieve their legitimate interests.
RMS collaborates with state authorities and those active in the field of interests of the RMS. RMS provides for members, observers and also to other subjects oriented on the help and the work for children and youth consulting, methodical and informational services and contributes to the creation of financial resources for the activities of children and youth organisations.
RMS cooperates also actively with partner organisations in abroad, with international governmental and non-governmental organisations.

تم تعيين الصندوق الوطني لسلوفاكيا من قبل وزارة الشؤون الخارجية ، ثم أعيد انتخابه من قبل الأعضاء في يونيو 2013 رئيسا للشبكة السلوفاكية لمؤسسة آنا ليند.

شاركت شبكة مؤسسة آنا ليند في الجمهورية السلوفاكية بفاعلية في مشاريع مؤسسة آنا ليند الوطنية الجديدة مع مجموعات المجتمع المدني في دول منها جمهورية التشيك وهولندا وفلسطين. ويتم تنسيق الشبكة من قبل الصندوق الوطني لسلوفاكيا.

في إطار الحملة القومية الأولى لمؤسسة آنا ليندا "1001 عمل لأجل الحوار"، التي أُطلقت في عام 2008 في السنة الأوروبية المتوسطية للحوار بين الثقافات، نظمت شبكة السلوفاكية العديد من المشاريع منها: " ثقافة التنوع - تنوع الثقافات" من خلال بيت براتيسلافا في أوروبا مع برنامج ورش العمل والمناقشات حول إدارة التنوع الثقافي، و"الحفاظ على التراث الثقافي المصري" والذي تضمن أعضاء من الجمهور العام في النقاش حول التراث المتوسطي والمحافظة عليه، و مبادرة "المرأة مع الحدود"؛ والمهرجان الثقافي "هل أنت حر؟" في دونيسكا ستريدا مع موسيقيين من المجر وفرنسا والتشيك وبولندا وسلوفاكيا. خلال عام 2008، نظمت الشبكة أيضا ندوة "الناس في الحوار"، والتي تم إطلاقها في منشور المتابعة الجديد بدعم مؤسسة آنا ليند.

في إطار مبادرة مؤسسة آنا ليند "استعادة الثقة وإعادة بناء الجسور"، أطلقت الجمعية السلوفاكية "حوار السلام في الشرق الأوسط" مع ممثلي المجتمع المدني من فلسطين وإسرائيل وسلوفاكيا؛ وأعقب المؤتمر عرض عام لفيلم وثائقي عن حوار السلام بين المجتمعات العربية واليهودية في إسرائيل والنقاش العام. في ابريل 2010، جمعت ندوة "الناس في الحوار" ممثلين من الفائزين بجائزة الحوار الاورومتوسطي لمؤسسة آنا ليند "مقاتلون من اجل السلام"، وهي حركة المجتمع المدني الإسرائيلي الفلسطيني، مع أعضاء الشبكات الوطنية في النمسا، بولندا، المجر، جمهورية التشيك و جمهورية سلوفاكيا.
