The Mediterranean Youth Foundation is calling youth from the Euro-Mediterranean region!

Apply to the 3rd edition of the Mediterranean Youth Academy

6th - 9th of November in Barcelona, Spain.

Applicants are eligible if they are:

  • Young people between 18 and 29 years old
  • Nationals of one of the Union of the Mediterranean – UfM Member States
  • Interested in learning more about the challenges experienced in the Mediterranean region and promoting youth-led initiatives for a positive impact in their local communities.

Registration for COP28 badges via YLE is now open!

The 28th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP 28) to the UNFCCC will convene from 30 November to 12 December 2023. It will take place in the United Arab Emirates.

 On behalf of Youth Loves Egypt  responsibility and  belief in empowering youth and providing opportunities for all to participate in change making, YLE announces its opening of the opportunity to attend COP28 for some active youth in climate change, our quota is severely limited, yet we strive to provide the opportunity for all.

 Accordingly, YLE is inviting you to register for COP28 badges now. 

Eligibility criteria- What make you the best to fit?

1. This opportunity is very competitive as we are to choose very limited number for the badges so you must be serious and accurate filling the form and take care you write the  real data.

Caritas Egypt was established in 1967 as an "emergency aid" sector during the Arab-Israel conflict, in which, Caritas had an effective contribution. This had had its positive impact on the Egyptian government, thus enabling Caritas to be officially registered as NGO. Caritas strategic objectives are; - Support and build the capacity of partner and non-partner NGOs. - Provide direct services to the target groups - Empowerment of the poor and marginalized - Building the community awareness regarding community participation and human rights Caritas principals; - Development from the perspective of human rights - Non-discrimination and gender equality - Empowering of the served communities - Partnership and networking - Respect of the constitution and policies of the Egyptian state - Working in the light of international guideline after it adaption to suet the community context. لقد تعاونا بالفعل مع هيئة اناليندا في مشروع التبادل الثقافي والمعرفي لذوي الاعاقة وذلك عام ٢٠١٠ وحقق المشروع نجاح كبير علي مستوي محافظات مصر والدول المشاركة في المشروع حيث تم ختام المشروع بمهرجان فني ثقافي سياحي بمكتبة الاسكندرية شارك في فقراته ابنائنا من ذوي الاعاقة من ٤ محافظات مصرية و٧ دول عربية واوروبية وكان تحت رعاية محافظ الاسكندرية واذ نامل ان نكرر التجربة من خلال مشروع اخر ينشر فكر وثقافة هيئة اناليندا والذي هو نفس فكر مركز سيتي وذلك لتقديم نموذج يحتذي به في المجتمع علي الصعيد الوطني والدولي

General Information
Caritas Egypt was established during the Arab-Israel conflict in 1967 as an "Emergency Aid Sector" providing Egyptians, displaced by the war and others, with essential needs. The humanitarian contribution and active role of Caritas Egypt was appreciated by the Government of Egypt and enabled its registration at the Ministry of Social Affairs as a non-governmental organisation under No. 1160 of 1967. Its status allows it to collaborate with other development organisations as well as state institutions all over the Arab Republic of Egypt. It was instituted as a Public Utility Society under Decree No. 166/1975. Caritas Egypt is affiliated to the Caritas Internationalis Confederation comprising 162 Catholic relief, development and social service organisations working to build a better world, especially for the poor and oppressed, in over 200 countries and territories.

Caritas works without regard to creed, race, gender or ethnicity, and is one of the world's largest humanitarian networks. It fights poverty, exclusion, intolerance and discrimination.

Caritas Egypt is active in the field of functional literacy since 1972. The literacy programme is based on Paulo Freire pedagogy adapted to the context of the Egyptian culture.
Caritas Basic Education programme includes a series of components mainstreamed in the curricula which cover: health education, environmental awareness, human rights and basic life skills.
The total number of learners benefiting from this programme is about 20.000 students per year. Around 80% of those are women; the average age is 15 to 45 years old in about 1.000 classes in different Egyptian governorates
