Development No Borders is an Egyptian non-governmental youth organization based on young people voluntary work, who aim to develop themselves and their society. We started in February 2003, believing that we can make a difference. Vision: Creative youth … Capable of development …In all aspects of life Mission: To encourage working on development and youth creativity whilst preserving our Egyptian identity in the midst of the globalization age by implementing charity works and indulging young aiming ideas through our youth who believe in their role in developing the society.

DNB works in youth development since 2003
On the international level, we care about subjects like: culture understanding and diversity,
Xenophobia, Racism, and Discrimination, also topics related to youth development.

DNB is Member association of the Egyptian Federation for Youth associations, Youth for Exchange
and Understanding (YEU) in the Euromed region.

In 2011, DNB has been awarded the ALF Euro-Med Award for Dialogue between Cultures for our
work on the promotion of citizenship and active participation among youth

MISSION
To support and strengthen the newly emerging civil society in Egypt and the Arab countries, while encouraging its diversity of character and unity of purpose, as part of a larger global civil society.
OBJECTIVES
1. Building the capacities of NGOs in the different areas of institutional and technical development, with special focus on development of strategies which reflect the needs and priorities of their constituencies.
2. Provide on-going support to partner NGOs as well as new initiatives, whether social, economic or culturally based, especially among the marginalised sectors in society, either directly or through linking them with intermediary NGOs.
3. Assisting in the development of strategic visions and understanding of the challenges facing civil society in addition to documenting and disseminating this information.
4. Contributing to the cooperation and coordination of efforts among NGOs internally and externally.

Diakonia’s vision is for each and every human being to live a dignified existence in a just and sustainable world, free from poverty.
Diakonia’s mission is to change unfair political, economic and social structures that generate poverty, oppression and violence.
Objectives: to support civil-society organizations to increase their role in policy making and policy implementation towards more respect for democracy and human rights, socioeconomic justice, gender equality and non-violent conflict resolution, as well as to eradicate the multidimensional aspects of poverty.

The Forum aims to defend others’ freedom of expression and to understand human civilizations on national, regional and international levels, as well as promote and support the role of civil societies through the creation of networks and outreach programs in an attempt to create a vision of a promising future for the Arab region.
