How can you contribute to the Network in your country?

we view our presence in the ALF network locally as an opportunity to share and expand our poll of members and partners and allow them to explore more of the local ecosystem through the different organizations that each of them would fit in. Additionally, I believe that most directly, IYAF can contribute its network of trainers, spaces and operations to relevant local and international programs.

the ALF network shares many of IYAF's interests in community involvement as well as cross countries and institutional partnerships, this coupled with the network's vast global reach would allow us to put our resources at better use, sharing them with local and international partners as well as learning from their experiences and work.

General Information
Who we are? We are a group of Jordanian women locally rooted in our commitment to help our community and globally connected in our endeavor; to promote world peace and intercultural understanding started our first steps on March 2005. We respect the differences among faiths and traditions as we also appreciate elders and youth from different walks of life, different faiths, share the same goals and aspirations, voluntarily willing to work hard for making our world better place.
Mission and Objectives

Goals & Objectives Voluntary works and community service. Capacity building. Local and global interfaith work. Intercultural exchanges. Networking. Social and recreational activities.

Main Projects / Activities

Or message: We are looking to build bridges of love and mutual understanding between all nations, we want to reach out to each other, we want to be friends, it would be a greater freedom to stop hiding behind our arms and bravely stretch out a hand and offer an open heart. We should raise above all differences and see our spiritual oneness, we should learn to love each other and to appreciate the nice things that people do, if we keep talking about the good things, we will forget all the superficial differences that divided us. If we go a little deeper, where is the black and where is the white? Where is the Muslim, Jew or Christian? The spirit has no white or black, Muslim, Christian or Jew? This is the real spiritual life: talking in terms of spirit, love in terms of spirit, this is the real union of communication; we cannot communicate with GOD with out having communication with our fellow beings. We believe that we can't change the whole world, but we are ambitious to make a little difference in people's lives , we love , encourage, support, and hope for them, we must be the living example of God’s kindness by our smile and warm greetings.

In 2010, the Royal Institute for Inter-Faith Studies RIIFS was appointed as the Head of the ALF Jordanian Network. RIIFS was established in 1994 in Amman, Jordan, under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince El Hassan bin Talal. RIIFS is a non-profit, non-governmental organisation that provides a venue for the interdisciplinary study of intercultural and interreligious issues with the aim of defusing tensions and promoting peace, regionally and globally. RIIFS focuses on promoting common human and ethical values that contribute to strengthening cooperation and interfaith relations, eliminating mutual misconceptions about the ‘other’ and ultimately expanding these shared commonalities in the hope of promoting peaceful coexistence.

The Jordanian Network consists of 118 members. The goal of the Network is to promote acceptance of pluralism and cultural diversity, mutual respect among societies, religions and beliefs and the acknowledgement of the rule of law and fundamental freedoms in the Euro-Med region and to engage large and diverse audiences in the promotion of cultural diversity and intercultural dialogue.

The Network’s activities align with RIIFS interests and objectives covering a wide range of topics carried out according to an interdisciplinary approach, including but not limited to: creative dialogue through arts, raising awareness and building capacities of youth and women in different fields, inclusive citizenship, facilitating the creation of EuroMed collaborations and partnerships, and mapping priority areas of intervention and synergies among dialogue actors.

الخلفية التاريخية لشبكتك

At the start of 2007, the Head of the Jordanian Network was the Jordan Institute of Diplomacy, the ALF organized, in partnership with the Network, a national training seminar for NGOs and civil society groups in Amman which included components on: networking and new media tools; the development of transnational project proposals in the field of media, culture and education; sharing good practice in cross-cultural dialogue work; a simulation of project evaluation and monitoring. In the same year, the ALF also organized a seminar on ‘Linguistic Awareness of Cultures’ and a teacher training workshop on ‘How to Use New Teaching Materials on Religious Diversity in the Classroom’.

In 2010, the Royal Institute for interfaith Studies RIIFS, was appointed as the Head of the ALF Jordanian network. RIIFS was established in 1994 in Amman, Jordan, under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince El Hassan bin Talal.

Jordanian civil society has been actively involved in developing, leading and partnering in transnational projects for intercultural dialogue, creating partnerships with organizations in more than 30 Euro-Mediterranean countries; projects have focused on the field of education, youth, artistic creation and academic cooperation. In May 2011, the Jordanian Network organized its first common action "Alwan Baladna" festival in collaboration with the Network members and under the patronage of HRH Prince El Hassan bin Talal. The same month saw the ALF organize the first Euro-Med High-Level Meeting of Television Leaders at the Dead Sea in Jordan.

Among its activities was a capacity-building activity, entitled “Social Media: Influence and Change”, in response to the “Believe in Dialogue: Act for Citizenship” ALF initiative; and several general meetings with key civil society organizations to formulate network strategy. Moreover, the National Network organizes each year a program of several activities on “Active Citizenship” that is implemented in the governorates of Jordan (north, middle and south) reaching youth, women and refugees. Its latest capacity building was under the title ‘’Dialogue for Citizenship’’ in December 2019.

General Information
The non-profit Jordan Career Education Foundation has formed collaborative relationships with some of Jordan’s most influential businesses, philanthropists, and respected educational institutions. With their involvement and consult, JCEF is able to clearly identify significant deficits in the current workforce, in addition to predicting future needs. As a result of this close collaboration, the Foundation’s specifically designed training programs are remarkably prescient in immediately fulfilling Jordan’s workforce gaps.
Mission and Objectives

The JCEF Mission. Our aim is to empower and employ Jordanian youth through private-sector sponsored training, including targeted technical, vocational, and managerial programs, so that they may establish sustainable livelihoods and contribute toward Jordan’s future economic development; Recognizing an urgent need in Jordan’s fast-growing economy; Education for Employment (EFE)established the non-profit Jordan Career Education Foundation (JCEF) in 2006 to create job opportunities for youth using employer-driven training programs. Jordanian youth under 25 years of age constitutes more than half of the country’s population, and yet over one quarter of University graduates remain unemployed. Visionary leadership, healthy trade relations, and a central location have each contributed toward Jordan’s vital economy, and yet there exists a crucial shortage of skilled, competitive candidates within the workforce to sustain this steady economic growth. Addressing this two-fold issue of reducing unemployment among young, educated Jordanians, as well as establishing a new generation of confident, competent professional leaders in Jordan’s workforce is the primary focus of JCEF.

Main Projects / Activities

Program trains unemployed youth with the professional and communications skills to get and keep a first job. since February 2006. To date, 255 JCEF graduates have received WS training. - With a grant from the Said Foundation (SF), graduates of INJAZ (a member of Junior Achievement Worldwide) received scholarships for WS training and were placed in internships or jobs through JCEF partnerships with the NEC, Microsoft’s School Technology Innovation Centre (STIC), and others. - Through a partnership with the Ministry of Labour’s National Training & Employment Project (NTEP), youth have been trained and placed in jobs in the hospitality and vocational sectors. In 2009, a new partnership with the Jordan River Foundation (JRF) will train unemployed youth for jobs in the hospitality sector. JCEF operates three industry-specific professional and vocational training and job-placement programs: Heating, Ventilation, and Air-Conditioning (HVAC); Land Surveying; and Teacher Training
