ACPSS seeks through its activities to spread awareness to the Arab and Egyptian public opinion about strategic issues of the world in general and of the Arab world and Egypt in specific to aide in the decision-making process.
ACPSS cooperates with university professors and researchers on both regional and international levels. It undertakes multidisciplinary research dealing with regional and international developments, as well as Egyptian strategic, political, economic, and social affairs.
Thus, the center is interested in communicating with political leaders, decision makers, legislative bodies, political organizations, parties, and government, scientific and international politics circles, political analysts and researchers, the press and media, and the general population.
Areas of Research
ACPSS studies issues of international politics that have a bearing on the Middle East in general, and the Arab-Israeli conflict in particular. These include:
• Major changes of the international system
• Conflict resolution
The Centre publishes the Arab Strategic Report since 1985.
It is also involved in the publication of several books, periodicals, weekly articles, as well as in the organisation of seminars, and finally the undertaking of surveys and studies on areas related to its field of research.
