General Information
ATREE association is a high school of dramatic art and of musical comedy . The board of director is composed of 3 persons and the staff which work full-time is composed of 20 persons ( professional , technical and general services .) The education is ensured for 3 years to 45 students by four professors who are also directors , writers and actors and different associated or technical professors : song, fencing. The annual budgetary ressources are about 300 000 Euros from : . The DRAC. . The regional council . The general council . The city of Agen . The social European fund . The community of Val d’Albret and the program LEADER
Mission and Objectives

The association has as mission to ensure education of dramatic art and musical comedy , organization of courses , production and theatrical diffusion also research in the theatrical field .
Its main objectives :
- The professional students insertion .
- To make the theatre available to the general public.

Main Projects / Activities

The principal actions are :
- The education of dramatic art and the musical comedy ,
- The organization of courses for professionals and fans.
- production of spectacles (writing, staging and interpretation); - exchanges and transfers of know-how with other professionals of the theatre. Moreover, the association takes part with the Co Pierre Débauche in the summer festival of Agen and the festival 300 which consists in making turn in small villages of the area a troop of young pupil-actors. For the year 2007, it is necessary to add the the project “Dialogues of philosophers in the Mediterranean” based on the new part of Pierre Débauche “the Smile of Averroès” in partnership with two theatrical companies, Tunisian and Belgian and the Foundation “Very Culturas” member of the Spanish and Moroccan network of the Foundation.
