YAKEM tries to create support and infrastructure in the fields of creative industries for formal programs in different disciplines that focus on the concepts of creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship.
Objectives of YAKEM
Research: To carry out interdisciplinary research that deepens and diversifies academic knowledge, to bring it to the literature.
Collaboration: To increase the cooperation of the academic and administrative staff, students and relevant external stakeholders of Baskent University.
Learning Events: Organizing learning events for internal and external stakeholders.

YAKEM in Ankara, Türkiye, enhances ALF network focused on collaboration and intercultural dialogue by contributing valuable insights and fostering interdisciplinary approaches to address important issues. Through face-to-face initiatives, especially from the complementary perspective of the Mediterranean, the center adds depth and diversity to the network's collective efforts, creating a more dynamic and inclusive platform for creative exchange and problem-solving.
YAKEM, as a creative industries research center in Ankara, Turkey, joined the ALFinMOTION network to foster equal partnerships and collaboration among intercultural dialogue operators. The goal is to support Civil Society Networks that aim to provide interdisciplinary solutions to urgent issues. Through the mobility program, we want to promote a dynamic exchange of ideas and expertise.
