Bunker is an institute organizing and producing cultural events. It is a non-profit organization, founded in December 1997 by Nevenka Koprivsek. The institute collaborates with approximately eighty outside collaborators, artists, researchers and students.

Mission and Objectives
THE PURPOSE is the production and presentation of theatre and dance performances and the organization of workshops and other educational programs. Bunker is sensitive to all issues involved in developing the stage arts, from the infrastructure and education all the way to the position of contemporary arts.
THE GOALS of Bunker include opening Slovene cultural space and enabling the exchange of experience and knowledge among the artists as well as involving the local audiences in all the processes of development. Bunker attempts to create an environment promoting the discussion of various artistic practices and subject matters beyond Slovene cultural boundaries.
