General Information
Compagnie Animotion was a non-profit arts organisation set up in the UK in 2004 which created arts opportunities and access to the arts for Deaf and hearing communities.
The company moved to France in 2006 and relaunched in 2009 where it widened it's aims to include and support all communities at risk of exclusion and to be a voice for people who suffer discrimination, as well as to create positive artistic experiences for all members of the community.

Main Projects / Activities
2009-2012 Company in residence with Livron town. Creation of community events.
2010-2012 Creation of Diaspora, an outdoor production and experience which promotes the situation of refugees and asylum seekers and promotes diverse communities
2009-Formations in schools to promote - sign language and non-verbal communication, as well as theatre, film and multi-disciplinary projects within the community
Creation of spectacles in order to promote other cultures
