Mission and Objectives

The Duke of Edinburgh's Award is a voluntary self-improvement Programme supporting personality development and leisure-time activities for young people between the ages of 14 and 25.
There are four parts to the Program; the young person learns or improves a recreational sport, develops his/her practical skills, assists others less fortunate and undertakes a joint expedition as part of a team...
The participants gradually attain the three levels of the Program (Bronze, Silver and Gold). During their journey to achieve their goals, our leaders provide them with a helping hand.
The Program is open to all organizations and groups working with children and young people.
