The main domains of action are in education, information, research-creation and production, performance and presentation through collaborations with local and international institutions.
The organization aims are: (i)The support, promotion and development of contemporary dance locally, nationally and internationally, (ii)The encouragement of choreographic research through the creative process, (iii)Continuous professional training for dancers, (iv)Τhe support of professional dancers, choreographers and dance companies through international collaborations, (v)Acting as a connecting link between the audience and the art of dance and choreography,(vi)To help young professionals have contact with the dance community
The main activities are: Daily Professional classes, Community dance classes for adults, “Saturday Sharing” improvisation jams, Lectures on dance and the performing arts from local and foreign professionals, Workshops on Dance and on choreography from local and foreign artists-teachers, Workshops by companies of the European festival (a collaboration of the House with the Rialto theatre and the Ministry of education and culture), Lectures, Residencies of local and foreign artists, Video-dance screenings, Dance performances by Cypriot companies-artists, Open rehearsals of works in progress, Aerowaves night (a presentation of works from the Aerowaves selection in a collaboration with the Aerowaves netwotk and .pelma.lia haraki)
