General Information
The members of The Egyptian Youth Exporters Association (EYEA) represent a variety of small and medium sized manufacturers owned and run by Egyptian youth and it is involved in various industrial sectors.
Mission and Objectives

• Fostering the culture of entrepreneurship
• Assist in enabling and empowering small projects launched by self-made young entrepreneurs
• Enable the young entrepreneurs to actively participate in the Egyptian economic development and prosperity
The association provides a valuable link between these small units and the export world. This is through its collective efforts with the various governmental departments at the highest levels and the various export promotion organizations; local, national or international.
• CREATION OF AN INSTITUTIONAL AND LEGAL FRAMEWORK IN VIEW OF HAVING AN IMPACT ON NATIONAL POLICIES RELATED TO THE DEVELOPMENT AND PROMOTE AND DEVELOP AN ENTREPRENEURSHIP CULTURE AMONG YOUTH AND WOMEN
• PROMOTION OF SMES
EYEA strategy is to promote the export of the current products of its members and assist them in developing new products, which are suitable to the needs of export markets.
Our current membership covers the following manufacturing sectors:-
- Handcrafts.
- Industrial component feeding units e.g. Automotive parts.
- Furniture.
- Textiles & Apparel.
- IT & Computer Software.
- Agricultural Products.

Main Projects / Activities

The Egyptian Youth Exporters Association has participated in the following activities in order to achieve its goals:
Active youth in EUROPE 1999(Trade air & exhibition)
Training in Barcelona university SPAIN (1999)
Agreements & Protocols:
• Co-operation agreement : EYEA and the Chinese Small Industries Association May 2000.
• Co-operation agreement: EYEA and CIAM center (Italy) June 2000.
Conferences & Exhibitions:
• Cairo Fair 2001 where the EYEA area was visited by President Hosni Mubarak who was met by the Chairman.
The President expressed his support to the ASSOCIATION and issued his instructions to the government to provide all assistance to the group.
• The 15-Country Conference 2001 under the auspice of Mrs. Suzan Mubarak and the Egyptian Minister for Economics & Foreign Trade.
• The Arabic Traditional Industries Conf. September 2000 with the Social Fund & Pan –Arab Organization for Industrial Development & Mineralisation.
• The Euro-Mediterranean Conference Palermo, June 2000 October 2000: resulting in some valuable export orders in Food Products, Textiles and Furniture .
• The Industrial Society & Commercial Association : School Needs Exhibition, Cairo 2000.
• The Egyptian Products Exhibition , Japan - October 2000
• The First Arab Women Summit & Exhibition , Cairo 2001 : attended and met by:
- Mrs. Suzan Mubarak
- HRH Queen Rania of Jordan.
- Mrs. Suha Arafat of Palestine
- HRH Princess of Morocco.
These meetings were in preparation for an Exhibition & a Conference for All Arab Young Business People For Economic & Trade Exchange.
The Euro-Money Conf. Sept 2000 under the patronage of the Egyptian Prime Minister including its workshops for Technology y & Small Industries .

• Discussion group organized by the Minster for Economics & Foreign Trade and the Italian Embassy regarding transfer of expertise and the development of small industry.
• The Third Meeting of the African Trade Ministers September 2000 with fringe meetings with African Business Groups achieving positive results in export contracts.
