Kounaktif is a cultural platform founded in 2018. It works to create a space for the sharing of knowledge and skills, experiences, and the weaving of social bonds through art and culture. It also aims to develop critical and creative capacities in the fields of visual arts, music, philosophy, sciences, new media, and DIY practices. With 8 members on the staff and 2 full-time workers, we manage a yearly budget ranging from 20,000 to 50,000 Euros, funded by the European Endowment for Democracy (EED) and Heinrich Böll Rabat (HBS). Regarding the modalities of actions, our organization privileges workshops, discussions, movie screenings, and producing motion designs. Our main partners are HBS and EED

- "Aktive skills" is a series of creative tutorials launched by Kounaktif. Through this initiative, we aim to bring artistic techniques closer to the general public, making them more accessible and not reserved for an elite. - "Tabi3a", translating to nature, is a long term project, with 3 editions already done, focusing on : international agriculture policies, sustainable agriculture... - "Aghsan" is a magazine published by KounAktif, with 4 published editions, delving into subjects such as : agro-ecology, decolonization... - 5 art exhibitions - 4 artistic risendencies
As an active NGO with a significant history in the associative work scene in Morocco, we can offer our expertise, knowledge, and our own network of facilitators and artists, who are also deeply committed to assisting in teaching and creative endeavors.
It's important for us at this point to join such a significant network that will allow us to connect with like-minded organizations sharing similar goals and interests.
