Mission and Objectives

To support women in times of war and conflict and end violence against women. We support partner organisations, their projects and sometimes their core funding. We support networking for Women´s Rights Defenders. We advocate for women´s rights in high level forums and at national levels and we support women´s participation in peace processes.

Main Projects / Activities

We support a vaste number of projects promoting women´s rights initiated by our partner organisations. We take part in an extensive number of regional and international forums like the African Comission on Human and People´s Rights (yearly), The Commission on the Status of Women (UN yearly) We also take part in EU Advocacy for Country Reports for countries in f ex The Balkans.
We have started a Sweden Program with an aim to target girls and young women who are new in Sweden - migration experience. This program provides information on women´s and girl´s rights and also empower the participants own agency. Our long time work in conflict affected areas adds valuable experience and understanding to this context. We are now also planning to expand our activities in Sweden.
