Call for expressions of interest within the Erasmus+ Virtual Exchange project
The Anna Lindh Foundation is a consortium partner in the Erasmus+ Virtual Exchange project https://europa.eu/youth/erasmusvirtual and is responsible in particular to run intercultural online debate exchange activities.
A few Heads of ALF National Networks were engaged in the pilot project through an open call for expression of interest in 2018-2019. Following this good practice and this successful experience, we would now like to extend this opportunity to a larger number of ALF member organisations.
Therefore, ALF launches a call for expression of interest amongst its member organisations to nominate and contract up to 15 organisations with the capacity to take part in the Erasmus+ Virtual Exchange project.
It is to be noted that the Erasmus+ Virtual Exchange consortium has together with the European Commission a focus on European youth engagement for 2020 due to their weaker participation so far in the project.
It is expected that the selected 15 organisations will be contracted for the duration of 6 months from June 2020 to December 2020. These organisations will be contracted to nominate at least 50 participants (ideally, 15 debate team leaders and 35 debate participants) to the activities pursued by the ALF (online debate exchange and team leader training). The contracted organisations will be paid a maximum amount of €2,000 in return for the nominated 50 participants at least. The payment will be done pro rata at the end of the cycle, in December 2020.
