On May 8, the debate on the theme “Gender Equality and Fight Against Stereotypes” took place on the RIDE's institutional Facebook page, within the context of the monthly online debate series. The debate was correlated to the multi-year initiative, sponsored by RIDE, on Identitary Cuisine and explored the roles of stereotypes, gender equality and the contribution of women in the Euro-Mediterranean dialogue and cooperation. The debate represented a scheduled event for the ALF Virtual Marathon for Dialogue, developed around the theme Intercultural Dialogue for Sustainable Societies. The participants to the debate were Paola Sarcina, Representative of Italy in the ALF Advisory Council; and Andrea Catizone Folena, Lawyer and Women's Rights Activist. The event lasted about one hour and is still accessible on the RIDE's institutional Facebook page.
