Overlapping Circles

A series of Cross-Network activities has been organized by the Anna Lindh Foundation Network Members of Cyprus Visual Voices, and Turkey Anadolu Kültür in the Framework of the Anna Lindh Foundation Virtual Marathon for Dialogue in the EuroMed.

The main aim of the activities is to engage civil society in conversations around the arts and intercultural dialogue with artists, academics, and practitioners, especially from Turkey and Cyprus.

This activity is divided into two circles, and as they move towards each other they begin to intersect and interact, and new shapes emerge. The overreaching approach of this dialogue will embark upon artistic practice towards its relation to scholarly reflections. Thematically, presentations will build off of collective memory, deciphering the past, and their connection to perpendicular and parallel narratives. The discussions will be held in English and Turkish.
